30 seconds walk to our private sandy beach.  No roads to cross.  Location: Chequessett Neck,  bay side Wellfleet, adjacent to the Cape Cod National Seashore. Calm waves, warm water, and no rip tides make our 'Sea Shells' beach the best place on Cape Cod for swimming, sailing, collecting sea shells, walking, and exploring.  Waterviews from the deck. Waterviews from inside the house.

area, full bath, front deck, flat screen cable TV, DVD, wireless internet. Downstairs: Two bedrooms; one with a
queen bed, one with 2 twins. Walk-thru den with a double sized futon/sofa.
A great vacation spot for families. An easy to use, sit-on-top, 2 person Ocean KAYAK is included. Short walk to golf and tennis. 1 mile to historic Wellfleet Center and Wellfleet Pier, shops, art galleries, restaurants and a tot park, skate park, frisbee field, square dancing, live theatre and much more. 
Acres of bike trails, walking trails, and secluded beaches nearby. We are right across from Great Island, part of the Cape Cod National Seashore. 
Little Neck is part of the Sea Shells, a cluster of quaint 'Old Cape
Cod' style cottages that share a beautiful, south-facing beach.

Fun things to do: Grill on the deck. Beachcomb at our Sea Shells beach. Fly a kite.
Swim at high tide. At low tide - explore. The best kayaking
on Cape Cod, swimming in Wellfleet's pristine kettle ponds,
Wellfleet's magnificent ocean beaches, clamming, Wellfleet's world
famous oysters, the village of Wellfleet - groceries, ice cream,
Hatches fresh local produce, fresh local seafood, blueberry pancakes for breakfast
at the Lighthouse, art galleries, family friendly restaurants,  a
farmer's market, deep water fishing in Wellfleet Harbor with the
Naviator - they have the rods & reels & they'll clean the fish for
you, fish off the pier, there's a rail trail bike trail in Wellfleet
& trails in nearby Provincetown, (bike rentals in Wellfleet) the Wellfleet
drive-in, the Wellfleet movie theatre, go to a show at W.H.A.T. Wellfleet Harbor
Actors Theatre (Best of Boston - Boston Magazine), see paintings
of renowned artists in Wellfleet's thriving art galleries, go to
Provincetown, seaside golfing down the road at Chequesset Yacht &
Country Club, grill on the Little Neck deck overlooking the water or
dine at al fresco at Winslow's, the Wicked Oyster, or Town Pizza,  or go out for
lobster, the restaurants are child friendly. Call Mac's and order
lobsters, they'll cook 'em for you. There's the Wellfleet flea
market, National Seashore nature center, the Marconi site where
Marconi invented wireless, visit the Highland Light Lighthouse in
Truro, Audubon Society Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary - what a
great place! Whale watches, beautiful sunsets, scenic drives, learn
to surf, go birding, or don't go anywhere - just listen to the waves.

From the Little Neck cottage it's about 30 steps to the beach - kayak,
swim, or walk to Great Island at low tide, explore the National
Seashore, try to make it to Jeremy point (lotion up!), collect sea
shells, watch the oystermen tend to their oysters, relax, let the
kids have fun exploring, collecting. At night watch a movie, read a
book,  begin writing your book, listen
to the waves, the salty sea air is wonderful, sleep will be restful.

Cape Cod National Seashore: The 40-mile uninterrupted stretch of beach is the largest on the East Coast. Explore great walking and biking trails, salt marshes, pristine fresh
water "kettle" ponds, pine forests, historic structures, and
lighthouses. The federally protected National Seashore land includes
more than 43,000 acres.  Most of Cape Cod National Seashore is located in Provincetown, Truro, and Wellfleet - known as the 'Outer Cape'. 

vacation rental rates

$750 to $2,700/week depending on the week.  July/August weeks are $2,700.

Summer is by the week only, Saturday to Saturday.

Spring & Fall Weekends - Please inquire for a quote.

Spring & Fall weeks may start & end on any day of the week. 

$135 changeover cleaning charge.  There are no other charges. There is a refundable security deposit.
