This Mountain Home is located in Lydia's Canyon, 1 mile north of
Glendale, Utah off of Highway 89. This cabin is tucked into the back
of the canyon at 6300 feet elevation and shows panoramic views of
the valley, mountains and forests.
This home comes fully furnished with a large kitchen and dining area
with a big family table. There are 5 bedrooms with two king beds,
one queen bed, 2 fold out queen sofa sleepers, one double bed, 5 twin beds, one fold out single sofa sleeper, one futon and 2 roll aways. The house is
outfitted to accommodate large family gatherings. Entertainment
includes Satellite TV\DVD, broadband
internet, and console piano. We have 3 full baths. Wonderful rooms
and balconies for enjoying the scenery
There is plenty of rustic appeal with hickory hardwood floors,
fireplace and wood burning stove.
The home is located next to the Dixie national forest with miles of
hiking, biking and ATV trails to explore. There is trout fishing at
nearby Navajo Lake, Mammoth Creek, Duck Creek and the Sevier River.
Horseback riding is available within 15 minutes of the cabin. We
have a fire-pit with log seating for evening campfires--firewood
provided. The night sky is awesome for star gazing (telescope
included).
The scenic wonders of BRYCE & ZION National Parks are just minutes
away and the Grand Canyon's north rim is 90 minutes away. The Grand
Staircase National Monument is our front yard. Wonderful slot canyon
hiking is easily accessible. World class boating and water skiing at
Lake Powell is 90 miles away.
The home is also just 37 miles to Cedar City where an
internationally acclaimed Shakespearean Festival is conducted during
the summer months. We are just 92 miles away from St. George, Utah
and 205 miles from Las Vegas, Nevada.
There is an International Airport in Las Vegas & Salt Lake City,
also Cedar City has a regional airport.
We want to share the pleasant, quiet
surroundings of Long Valley with our traveling friends and provide
easy access to the Scenic Cirlce (Bryce Canyon, Zion's Canyon, Grand
Canyon, Grand Staircase, Lake Powell, Coral Pink Sand Dunes and the
enchanting Colorado Plateau)
