Luckystone Cottage in the Heart of the Finger Lakes in Cayuga Lake

Note: Luckystone Cottage is available for Rental for the first
time in 2009. The interior has been redecorated with new furniture, mattresses and bedding throughout.  There is a new Hi-def TV with Blu-ray DVD and Direct TV. The cottage is very clean, central air-conditioned and awaiting your rental.   

Luckystone Cottage is a lovely, three bedroom, 2 1/2 bath home set on
5 quiet acres with 200+ feet of private beachfront along the western
Shore of Cayuga Lake. We are located in the Sheldrake area in the
heart of the Cayuga Wine Trail with lots to see and do. There are
five Wineries within just 3 miles and many others, including the
Seneca Lake Wine trail, just a short distance away. Cornell and
Ithaca Colleges are close by as is Watkins Glen, many beautiful State
Parks, golf, hiking, biking, and Outlet Shopping.

Luckystone Cottage has 3 bedrooms with a Master King with bath, 1 additional King, 2 Twins.
The comfortable living room overlooks the Lake, has a pull out Queen bed and Satellite Hi-def TV with Blu-ray DVD.
You will view the Lake as you prepare your meals and eat in either the kitchen or dining room.
There is a screened porch where you can linger over your morning coffee
or evening cocktail. If you want to eat out, 3 restaurants are within a mile.
The level and private beach is located just across the road where there is
a large dock with ladder and there is plenty of room for enjoying Cayuga Lake.

fishing, swimming or lounging with a good book. If you can peel
yourself away from the Lake, there is lots to do.

Luckystone Cottage is a five minute walk to 2 local restaurants and
the Sheldrake Point Vineyards & Simply Red Bistro is only one mile
down the road. We are located in the heart of the Cayuga and Seneca
Wine Trails, and the Ithaca Art Trail. Sheldrake Point Vineyard,
Lucas, Hosmer, Cayuga Ridge, Thirsty Owl, Buttonwood, Goose Watch, and
Lakeshore are all very close. A short drive away is Ithaca,
Taughannock Falls State Park, Buttermilk Falls, Sampson State
Park, Cayuga Lake State Park, Watkins Glen State Park and
International Speedway, Ithaca's Hangar Theatre, Several Golf Courses,
Mackenzie-Childs, Corning Museum of Glass, Waterloo Premium Outlets,
Pyramid Mall of Ithaca, multiple antique shops and over 40 wineries
along the way.

Ithaca College, Cornell University and the New York Chiropractic
College are a short 20 minute drive. Hobart and William Smith College
in Geneva is 35 minutes away.

You can easily launch your boat at the public access just one mile away.

Luckystone Cottage rents by the week (Sat-Sat) during the season and
can be rented by the night during the off season.

May - August: $1700/wk
(contact us for graduation Weekends)

September: $1200/wk

Oct. - Apr.: $1000/wk
$300/night (3 night minimum)

Payments can be made by check or credit card (with a transaction fee of 4.0%)

Reservations are confirmed with a 50% deposit and the return of the
signed rental agreement. The remainder plus a $300 security deposit is
due three weeks prior to reservation start. The security deposit is
returned pending no extraordinary cleaning, or damages.

Check-in is 3:00 pm on Saturday, Check-out is the following Saturday
at 10:00 am.
