River Run Cabin in the Mountains in Burnsville

Come to the Mountains! Enjoy This Wonderful Large, Yet Cozy Get
Away in the Blue Ridge Mountains over looking the Wide Water Front
of the Toe River. This is a perfect place for a honeymoon, couples
and family get together s. We can accommodate more for a retreat
using additional riverfront cabins in the area.

River Run is a 2 story cabin with the Master upstairs with private bath
and balcony over looking the River and Mountains, Large Sleeping loft in
addition to 3 bedrooms and two bath rooms. A walk out basement with sofas
and beds for overflow or for the children to play in.
This home away from home has modern conveniences and a unique Rustic
look and feel like a rustic
cabin.
Vaulted cealings, fire place and loft for extra sleeping area, Huge
porch full of rockers and
a bbq grill.

River Run has a great room including kitchen, dining, living room
with fireplace for cozy family time in front of the fire.

Home is equipped with 1 TV, VCR/DvD in great room (basic cable can be
turned on $44.00 if you wish to watch that special game.

The walkout basement is partially finished and many children love to
play down there with the games an additional Television is located for
hook up of video games.

There is A Huge Covered porch to bbq or just relax overlooking the
river. You can watch the trains go by.

There is over 100 acres to hike and play.

The River Run Cabin:
Just a short 20 minute drive down the winding mountain road take you
to the quaint town of Burnsville. There you can enjoy the charm of
the town square, the unique shops, restaurants and the wonderful
people. There are also modern amenities including one of the best
grocery stores I have ever seen.

Watch for the many special events around the area including the
counties of Yancey, Mitchell, Avery and Buncumb.

Asheville offers
The Beautiful Biltmore Estate 45 minutes away as well as the many
plays, shows and ongoing events.

The Famous Grandfather Mountain ( home of the highland games) as
well as Mount Mitchell (highest point East of the Mississippi) offer
hiking to the top on groomed trails. The Beautiful Blue Ridge
Parkway and Linville Falls offers a wonderful day of scenery and
stops along the way and don't forget Little Switzerland check the
views there are Awesome!

Other nearby towns include
Spruce Pine with the famous Penland School of Crafts (glass blowing
mecca) with a beautiful museum and tour, gem mining and shopping and
even a Super Walmart. 20 minutes from River Run

River Run is located close to Three golf courses. Mount Mitchell,
Mountain Air and Grassy Creek.

You can also just stay home and enjoy: the hiking, tubing and
swimming right there at River Run.

Winter Rates: NOVEMBER-MAY: 850/WEEK
Winter Weekend Rates: 3 night minimum $150 per night
Holiday Rates: $900 per week includes First Week of August Fair Dates
Weekly Summer and fall Rates: JUNE-OCTOBER $800 per week
$200 Per week security deposit also holds reservations.
Pets: Please inquire (ADDITIONAL CLEANING AND DEPOSITS)
Additional people $50.00 per night
Nightly Rates Summer: $140 per night 3 night mininum.
Prices do not include cleaning $95.00 for up 4 people, add $10 per
each additional person.
