This bright open home layout with spiral staircase and
cathedral ceilings is only 6 miles from town for all your
supplies. Only 1-1/2 hours from coastal Maine including Bar
Harbor or 1 hour to Beautiful Moosehead Lake. Bangor
Airport only 45 minutes away, Portland 2 hours, 4 hour drive from Boston. Dogs are welcomed.

The central Maine community of Dexter is situated in a small valley along Route 7 that runs north from the intersection of Route 95 in Newport and continues toward the Dover-Foxcroft and Sebec Lake and Moosehead Lake in Greenville. It was incorporated in 1816 when Maine became the 23rd state in 1820.
The Town has a population of approximately 5,000 +/- year round residents and is conveniently located; transit time to either Bangor or Waterville in a little less than an hour, Newport is 20 min. drive or you can be in Portland in about 2 hours. Bar Harbor, Rockland, Rockport are only 1-1/2 hrs. away. L.L.Bean 1-1/2 hrs. away.
The Town also has a great nine-hole municipal golf course and driving range, a public beach and picnic areas, plus boasts one of Maine's best small municipal regional airport's which offers 3,000 feet of lighted paved runway. Additionally, snowmobiling, fishing, water sports, and hunting are all popular recreational activities associated with the area.
