vacation rental description
Casa Granada B&B and its 2 casitas (one sleeps three, the other 4) are located on the Estuary where the Mulege River meets the Sea of Cortez. We offer first class and affordable accommodation, with privacy, in a beautiful setting. It is a short stroll, past the boat dock to miles of empty beaches with their wildlife, and very impressive dune and desert areas. Our website shows additional pictures and rooms. We have been hosting guests at our Casa Granada since several years now, and we are proud to have very satisfied guests (rated #1 actually). This year (2010) our business is open for the season till beginning of June.
cottage rental amenities
Each fully tiled Casita is a spacious studio which opens to a
paved patio with a unique fully equipped outdoors kitchen under a sun
roof made from cardon lattice, surrounded by Palm and Mango, Orange trees and Bougainvilleas. Another patio, designed for natural cooling during the warm season, overlooks the River. The casitas are air-conditioned with super quiet mini split systems. Our guests can use Hotel Serenidad's swimming pool, and like to go to their traditional Saturday night (not every, though) Pork Roast dinner
Our main house provides laundry service and breakfast on request.
Wireless internet access throughout.
activities and attractions in Mulege Baja California
You are welcome to use our bicycles, Kayaks (three singles), sailing dingy and books about the area. We are sensitive to your particular interests and will arrange for Cave painting, Petroglyph and Whale-watching tours, snorkeling, and fishing trips. Recently we have added the option of horse back riding through gorgous desert terrain for hours or days. We will point you to nearby Scenic Desert and Ocean hiking trails and nearby petroglyph sites (self-guided). In case you are particularly interested in photographing rock-art (petroglyphs) and cave paintings you can use our image enhancement Software "D-stretch", created and implemented by Jon Harman.
