From this unit you have an incredible view of Tennessee's Mt. LeConte
and Clingsman Dome in North Carolina, 2 of the 3 highest mountains in
all of the eastern United States. Also you have a fantastic view of
Gatlinburg in one direction and Pigeon Forge in the other. You are
literally 'in the clouds'. There is not a better view in all of
Pigeon Forge.
Located at the highest point on the mountain.

Unbelievable view

The 2 of us stayed 4 days in this cabin last week. I can not imagine a better view than the one you get from the porch of this cabin. The cabin was very clean, all the furnishings appeared to be practically new. Since you are on the highest point on the mountain, there is a cell phone tower behind the unit. What impressed me most was the price. Everything else we found was 2 to 3 times as much.

Recommended for: romantic getaway

A View to Remember

Owner was very deceptive in description of property. Failed to mention that cabin was built right next to and practically on top of water processing plant and pump station. Constant noise. Also there is a 200 foot communications tower within spitting distance of the porch that obstructs your view. Directions to cabin are incorrect. Owner says cabin is located in a named development that does not exist. After 3 trips up and down the mountain finally called owner and they acted like it was not a big deal. They named this cabin right, A View to Remember, as you will definitely remember the tower. Why can't people just be honest? Would not rent from again and would not recommend this to anyone. Cabin was clean and view out front of cabin was OK.

Owners response: Everyone that inquires about this cabin is told it sits next to the cell phone tower. The directions on the web site state this fact. This cabin is at the highest point on the mountain, that's where the cell phone tower is located. This is the only complaint we have ever had about this cabin. Since this cabin and all other cabins on the mountain use well water, we have a water storage tank and water treatment equipment in the basement of the unit. GPS and mapquest cannot locate the address of the unit, so that is why there are exact directions given to each tenant.
