quick facts

vacation rental description

Stair climbing is required to gain access to the cabin. It is
located off of Dollywood Lane/Upper Middlecreek Rd. approximately 2
miles from the Pigeon Forge Parkway and just minutes from downtown
Gatlinburg.
The cabin is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath, cedar sided cabin overlooking one
of the most beautiful views of Mt. Le Conte. The mountain view is
seen from the front porch, rear deck, living room, hot tub, and
the master bedroom. The cabin is secluded, but not isolated.
We suggest you visit the Smokies during all four seasons. It’s
different and just as wonderful each time. The view is absolutely
breath-taking and the mountain changes with each season. At sunrise
and dusk the mountain takes on a reddish tone and often after a rain
shower you will see a beautiful rainbow stretching across the
Smokies. In the winter the mountain is blanketed in snow, in the
spring and summer the mountain is green and full of wildlife, and
the autumn brings the changing of the leaves!
One must rise before the sun and witness the beauty of the
mountain as it comes alive with the sunlight and hear the birds
awake to a new day! You will not get enough of just sitting on the
front porch breathing in the fresh mountain air while taking in the
majestic view. At night sit on the front porch and turn out all the
lights. It is so quiet and peaceful. What a change from all the
hustle and bustle in our lives. With the usual rabbit or squirrel,
you may see humming birds feed from the feeder or a fox wander by or
even a bear or two or maybe three.

cabin rental amenities

The cabin sleeps 6 adults featuring a master bedroom with a king
size bed, a second bedroom with a queen size bed, and the living
room has a full size hide-away sofa bed.
It has a fully equipped kitchen, propane fireplace, washer & dryer,
dishwasher, satellite TV/VCR/DVD, propane outside
grill, games, video library, and more.

activities and attractions in Pigeon Forge Tennessee

For those of you visiting the Great Smoky Mountains for the first
time, we would like to suggest a few of our favorite spots.
Reminder: Take your camera everywhere!
You must drive to Cherokee and take in the great views. Wade in
the streams, pack a lunch, and take a few short hikes. Cades Cove
is a great way to see some wild life. The deer come extremely close
and you may even see a few bear. You can’t complain about the cost,
it’s free! You may want to rent a bicycle and take in the sights
while breathing in the fresh clean mountain air.
You should visit Klingman’s Dome! Take the ½ mile hike up from
the parking lot and view North Carolina and Tennessee high above the
clouds!
The Dixie Stampede is a must. You will never see a better show. You
will be talking about it for a very long time. You will eat a
delicious meal Dolly style, with your fingers, while experiencing
great song and horsemanship. The kids will love it!
Ripley’s Aquarium in Gatlinburg is very exciting and fun for the
whole family. You will be awed as you are transported by a moving
walkway through a glass tunnel while sharks and other sea creatures
swim around you. You will be allowed to touch and pick up some very
unusual and creepy creatures of the deep.
We suggest attractions such as Dollywood (just down the road), the
Arts & Crafts Community, Fly Away Indoor Skydiving, horseback
riding, river tubing, hiking trails, helicopter rides, and my wife’s
favorite; shopping!
There are many things to see and do in the Smokies. There are
plenty of live shows, museums, amusement rides, and places to dine
and shop. Some of our favorite things are listed in the cabin
information binder.
