Bordeaux Bay Vacation Home with Very Private Sandy Beach in Lake Murray

You are sure to enjoy this very unique vacation setting! The photos show the isolated property and unassigned adjoining peninsula, forming a scenic panorama of your very own personal "Bordeaux Bay". This bay opens directly into deep/open water providing a superb lake vista and great fishing. The 1800+ square foot vacation home has its very own, very private, manicured sandy beach, found in very few locations at Lake Murray.  On the property we have an active osprey nest, and during the spring/summer you have a fabulous view of the adults flying in over the beach to the nest to feed the chick(s) from our back deck.

2012 has started booking unusually early, with May now booked, and June and July with only one week each remaining.

Two years ago, the house was completely updated, with new furniture, new paint, and new carpet.  Five huge floor-to-ceiling windows provide a fabulous view of your very private beach, the isolated bay, and the lake from the Family Room and Dining Room. The house's open deck and covered porch face northeast and your bay, making them perfect for all-day use. At the far north end of the property is a separate pergola (arbored patio sitting area) with another outstanding 3+ mile lake view.  A concrete firepit (with plenty of firewood) located beside the beach, provides great evenings under the stars!

You will likely see deer, Canadian geese, Mallards, and sometimes bald eagles on this nicely wooded, one acre lot with 325 ft. waterfront (expanded to 700 ft. by the adjoining peninsula).  This very clean property is located on the Lexington (south) side of Lake Murray, northwest of Lexington, just beyond Climax, SC. No smoking please.

Entertainment - 40" Flat Screen HDTV in Family Room.  27" TV in Den.  Dish-TV 200 Channel Satellite TV, VCR, DVD, CD Player, Stereo.  Free high-speed satellite internet - both wireless and Ethernet connection. 

Full Kitchen - New refrigerator, new microwave, new stovetop, new dishwasher, oven.  Coffee Maker, Blender, Toaster.  Tableware, dishes, cutlery, cooking utensils, and pots/pans provided.  New propane gas grill on the deck.

Sleeping - 1 queen bed, 1 full bed, 2 twin beds, 1 queen futon, 1 bunk bed set.  Plenty of linens and towels provided. Large washer and dryer. Iron and ironing board.
