Booking for 2010 --2009 Booked.  Our home offers the very best of Door County living. The expansive deck as well as every
room in the home offer views of the lake, the fishing village of Gills Rock, and
Washington Island. Below the home, large flat rocks at the shoreline provide the perfect
spot from which to swim, launch your kayak, picnic, watch the sunset or just enjoy this
special bit of the Door. This upscale modern home, completed in 2003, is filled with light
and surrounded by nature. Lovely antiques, Door County art, and a separate library help
to create an atmosphere in which to relax and enjoy life. You will find hardwood floors,
granite countertops, a separate TV viewing area, and a flower filled garden. The home is
located at the end of a quiet road, a perfect starting point for bike riding and hiking.
Ellison Bay Door Bluff Park is a mile away; it is two miles to Gills Rock, where you will find
breakfast at the Shoreline, coffee, the best cherry pie and art at Charlene's Gallery Ten,
fresh smoked fish at the Voights, and the best little maritime museum. There are good
restaurants and plenty of activity close by, but you will find it hard to leave this private
and very special retreat. Lull yourself in the comfortable hammock during the day and
dine on the deck in the evening to the sounds of the terns fishing for supper and the
waves lapping the shore.

Our Retreat at Hedgehog Harbor is rented for only 14 days per calendar year/2009 and is
our personal residence the rest of the year. The rate is $4200/week for up to 8 persons
including all infants/children/adults. We are PET (DOG) FRIENDLY for an Approved Pet on an
additional fee basis.
