2 Bd Condo on the water in San Jose del Cabo

Beautiful ocean front setting - great sunrises. Though only one bedroom faces the beach. No road noise here, but plenty of surf sounds. Remodel/upgrades to the unit and tile work are nicely done. We liked that the La Jolla condos is not a huge complex nor high rise buildings. Attractive landscaping around the pools. Enjoyed watching the resident iguana munch on the flowers left for him by the groundskeepers. WIFI doesn't work well inside the unit or on the deck facing the ocean, but OK reception out front and good reception by the pools. Andres, the local property manager was very helpful and responsive to our requests.

Taxis hang out next door at the hotel Playa del Sol, so getting to downtown San Jose (about $5 USD) is very easy if you don't have a car. There is also a Fiesta car rental desk in the Playa del Sol hotel which made it easy to rent a car for just a few days. Mi Ensalada and Sardina Cantina are both very good restaurants within walking distance of the condo. Yellowfin tuna tacos at Sardina and the entre size salads at Mi Ensalada are worth getting.

Communication and making reservations with Brad, the owner, went very easily. Hightly recommend staying here.
