Vacation Rental Description

Enjoy the panoramic views of the swift currents and 20 foot tides on 
the mouth of the Bay of Fundy from the 30 foot long deck and a wall 
of glass. You can explore miles of natural beach along the shore 
right in front of the cabin. This quality home is furnished with 
comfortable Thomasville furniture and is equipped with all that you 
could want! The kitchen’s spacious Corian counters provide ample 
room to prepare your seafood feast, while the top notch appliances 
and cooking equipment make vacation cooking fun! If you want a more 
laid back meal, cook out on the gas grill and eat on the deck or at 
the two picnic tables overlooking the water. The master sleeping loft 
has a king-size bed with water views. The second bedroom has a twin 
and a trundle bed. The sofa makes into a comfortable queen size bed, 
too. The house is equipped with a washer and dryer, full bath, TV 
with satellite service, phone. Plenty of outdoor furniture. No 
Smoking, No Pets. Two smaller cabins on site also available 
for large groups.

Activities and Attractions

Explore our miles of shoreline, do some world class birding at 
Moosehorn National Wildlife Refuge, or go out to sea for a whale 
watch adventure. Cruise over the world's largest whirlpool (The Old 
Sow) aboard the ferry, or spend a quiet day paddling on our bays and 
fresh water lakes. The numerous seaside trails along peat bogs, 
deserted beaches, and bold coastal cliffs are spectacular hikes. If 
you enjoy history, you can visit Franklin D. Roosevelt's beloved 
summer home on Campobello Island and tour several historic homes in 
the area. If you love lighthouses, you can visit four within just 10 
miles. If you can tear yourself away from Lubec for a day trip, visit 
Acadia National Park, or go deep sea fishing, or take an evening sail 
on a tall ship, or take a puffin tour out to Machias Seal Island. At 
the end of a busy day, you will return to your quiet retreat where 
you can simply sit and watch the tide, listening to the loons call 
and the fog horn in the distance gently warning home-bound mariners. 
Then you can eat lobster fresh off the boat and drift off to sleep to 
the sounds of the wind, the water, and the wildlife. Heaven!

Vacation Rental Rates

May through October: $1,000 per week, plus 7% lodging tax.
 
November through May: Please ask about daily, weekly, monthly rates 
and availability off season.
