Gallery LouLou is FIT FOR A COWBOY OR A KING. ONE BLOCK TO THE PLAZA-WALK EVERYWHERE.  It is a home of 20th Century Photography, furnishings,
and is the nationally registered Historic Home of Elliott Barker. He
was an author, photorapher and famed Commissioner of New Mexico
Department of Foresty. He also coined Smoky Bear. 
The house has been upgraded to allow for preservation to mix with
modernism. It feels like turn of the century because the authentic
architectural details, and ararangement of space is untouched. It
defines the old values of our country, unpretentious, authentic,
simple.  We are two blocks from Canyon Road, which leads to art galleries,
restaurants, and HIKERS AND BIKERS wilderness, Santa Fe Ski Valley
and the Sangre de Christo Mountains.
• The house is sandwiched between two outdoor living porches, one
with BBQ overlooking the garden.
• The garage was converted to an outdoor film room, with a projector
to show DVD's, plus turntable and DVD player to create your own
multimedia performance.
• The house is all hardwood floors, with French doors in the main
living area connecting to the front porch. All original architectural
details including chandeliers and all brass hardware.
• The dining and living area are connected, and the kitchen is
accessible to the porch and BBQ for dining al fresco.
• There are THREE private bedrooms and two baths.
• Two porches: One in front with garden of roses, and tiny little
side terrace, back yard garden is beautifully landscaped, with a
second porch area. Pear and apple trees, roses, lavender etc. The
house is 2500 square feet, two stories.
