Vacation Home is on Anvil lake with lots of quiet & privacy.  Closest to Anvil Cross Country
ski trails and snowmobile access in 4 directions across the street.Ice fishing and snow shoeing
are endless and downhill skiing is at Ski Brule 30 minutes away.
  Our chalet is set on 150 ft of level frontage on Anvil Lake which is a 400 acre sand bottom lake.
We have a large yard great for sports with a nice firepit for watching the stars and enjoying the
evenings.The chalet has an XL great room with cathedral ceiling, fireplace (w/firewood outside the
front door), patio doors to the deck (with table & chairs), and 52" TV and entertainment center with
satellite. Hardwood floors on the first floor with dining room table opening up to kitchen fully
equipped w/microwave, refrigerator, range, & dishwasher as well as breakfast bar furnished with
all the dishes and pots and pans. First floor XL bathroom has both a 2-person jacuzzi and shower and lower level bathroom has a tub/shower unit. Each of 4 bedrooms has a queen bed with lots of extra room.
The loft area has an additional double futon and the lower bedroom has a crib. Our lower family
room has a pullout sofa bed as does the great room for more sleeping space. Off the family room
is a patio with a Weber grill that opens up to the back yard and and the lake. Laundry room
has washer and dryer along with water filtration for the best water  possible. Resort has all the extras
(canoes, paddleboats, kayaks) including your own boat and 8 hp motor at no extra charge.

Every winter activity available from cross country skiing out the back door to 26 miles of trails across the lake on the Anvil Trails.  ice fishing in your backyard on the lake and snow shoeing every direction in the Nicolet Forest!  Snowmobiling trails down the road or across the lake to connect with 3-lakes, Eagle
River, Forest County, or Phelps trails. Downhill skiing at Ski Brule
30 minutes east of here.Rest of the year fun with 14'rowboat with 8 hp motor, canoes, kayaks, paddleboats,sandy beach
area, swim rafts,tennis court, basketball, volleyball, hiking trail,
horseshoe pit, playground, surrounded with the Nicolet Forest for
hiking and fantastic biking, Anvil Trails across the lake for cross-
country skiing, biking, and hiking. Fishing for walleye, northern, sm
mouth bass, and perch! Blackjack Wilderness across the street for
backpacking, hiking, snowshoeing, and exploring.  

Amazing biking and hiking trails to enjoy the fall colors! Cranberry Fest is coming Oct 1st.
Canoe the lake or take out the boat and enjoy these quiet days.  Trumpeter Swans should arrive
soon! Winter includes cross country skiing on the Anvil Trails as well as the Hidden Lake Trails! 
The lake is great for ice fishiing and the Nicolet Forest for snow shoeing.  Snowmobile trails head
all 4 directions as you enter down the drivewy to keep quiet here on our property.  Biking along
unlimited back roads or mountain biking trails at Anvil Trails, hiking in the Black Wilderness.
swimming in 400 acre crystal clear water, canoeing, paddleboating, and kayaking Anvil lake. Near
by find Eagle River 10 minutes away with shopping, restuarants, go-
carting, horseback riding, grocery stores, etc. Two miles away is a
bait shop/convenience store for any misc items.  May is
Journey's Marathon and summer is amazing family fun! along with Sept/Oct Fall colors!

Our rates are a per person starting at $800/week or $135/day for 2
people and going up to $2200/wk or $375/day for 14 people. Summer
rates vary from $2600/week during the prime summer weeks. Extra people have a per
night charge of $25.  Early summer special for June 4-11 & 11-18 $1800 for up to 10 people!
