Best Value in Chicago, Hot Tub, View & More in Chicago

Our vacation rentals are located just south of downtown Chicago. We are
very close to Downtown, McCormick Place, I.I.T., and U.S. Cellular Field, home
of the 2005 World Series Champion Chicago White Sox.

Transportation to downtown, the museums, and the near north area of
the city is simple. It is a 15-20 minute drive, even in rush hour and
there are trains, buses, and cabs readily available. There is a bus
line 1 minute away and the train is a short walk away.   We are 2 train stops from the museums and 4 train stops from downtown and Millenium Park.

The map is at street level, so please zoom it out a level or two and
scroll north or click the up arrow for north to see where we are at relative to downtown and McCormick Place. McCormick Place is located at Cermak Road (22nd St) and Lake Shore Drive which is 2.8 miles northeast of our rental.

Another bonus of staying in our neighborhood is that you won't hear
sirens and street noise all night long here.   This is a quiet and safe neighborhood.

Our daily newspaper, the Chicago Sun Times just voted our neighborhood the best place to trick or treat based on the safety and the family atmosphere of our area.  This is what they had to say.

The best neighborhood for trick-or-treating in Chicago? Bridgeport, says a real estate web site that says it factored in where a kid's likely to get "the most candy, with the least walking and minimal safety risks."

If you are driving or renting a car, we include one parking space in our two car garage and possibly both spaces if other guests aren't using the second space.  There is also plenty of street parking here that is almost always within a few feet of my door.

This is a list of the main amenities: Our Roof Deck with incredible view
of Chicago skyline (weather permitting during winter weather), 6
person luxury hot tub in its own cedar paneled addition. There are
1.5 baths.   Bathroom #1 has a 5 foot by 3.5 foot walk in steam bath
shower with Grohe body sprays, Kohler bathroom fixtures, and heated
marble floors. There is high speed wireless internet and a desktop PC
for your use. Each bedroom has a queen bed. The kitchens and bathrooms
are stocked with many of the basics that you will need such as coffee,
tea, paper products etc. I rent myself when I travel and I hate
having to run out to get necessities that should be in the rental.

Chicago has it all from great music, our sports teams, museums,
restaurants, shopping, and so much more. Here is a list of recommended
City Activities Jazz and Blues music, theatre, Navy Pier, Millenium
Park, Wrigley Field, Sox Park, Chicago Blackhawks Hockey, Chicago
Bulls basketball. River tours, architectural tours, American Girl
Place, Water Tower, Tiffany, Saks Fifth Avenue, Crate & Barrel,
Nordstrom, Nike Town, Bloomingdales, Lake Michigan walking and jogging
paths, Monroe Harbor, Museum of Contemporary Art, The Art Institute.
Field Museum. Museum of Science and Industry. Carriage Rides, the
Chicago River, the Theater District. Music and cultural festivals and
Taste of Chicago with 4th of July fireworks in Grant Park on the
lakefront. And much, much more.

The daily rates vary from $125 per night to $225 per night
depending on the length or your stay, the season, and any holidays or
special events. The longer your stay, the better deal you will get.  The lowest rates are in January and February during our off season.   Please inquire and we will give you the best possible rates for your stay.

The weekly rate is $750-$1,150.  Rentals of 5 days or more may get the
weekly rate pro rated.    Those daily and weekly prices include tax.  Each rental requires a cleaning fee that is added to the daily or weekly rate.   I could build it into the nighty rate, but it would end up costing shorter rentals more money as it costs us pretty much the same amount to clean after a 3 night stay as a 7 night stay.

Be be sure to ask about any last minute or off season specials.  Our lowest rates are for winter and last minute stays.  (excluding holidays and special
events). 

The guest renting the apartment must be 25 or older.   We don't rent these apartments for parties of any kind or to youth groups whether chaperoned or not.
