Lake House Getaway in Cayuga Lake

Our newly renovated lake house is available year round. It is a
single family, 3 bedroom home located on the west side of Cayuga
Lake, just minutes from Seneca Falls (13 miles) and Ithaca (25
miles). With this ideal location you can visit both the Cayuga Lake
and Seneca Lake wineries as well as enjoy swimming, fishing, biking,
and many other outdoor activities.

Nestled 150 feet from the road and behind a grove of trees, the house
is completely sided and has a closed front porch with a full size futon for extra
sleeping on one side and an open front porch on the other side. Both porches have
comfortable chairs where you can sit, relax, and enjoy the views and each others company.

It even has a deck on the side complete with patio furniture if you want to have a relaxing
meal outdoors. There is a small porch on the back of the house. Campfires are permitted in the
designated area behind the house. Parking is allowed on both sides of the driveway.

The house is completely furnished with 3 bedrooms and a powder room upstairs and a
full bathroom, an open living/family room and fully equipped kitchen downstairs.  The bedrooms
sleep 8 comfortably.  The couch in the living/family room forms into a double bed if additional
sleepingspace is needed.  You can access both front porches from the living/family room.

Across the road and down 50 steps, you will find 100 feet of
lakefront with a shale beach, a dock with a ladder and a picnic table
with benches. If you bring your own boat it can be launched at
Dean's Cove which is about a mile north and tied up on the dock for
short periods of time.

There is no telephone land line but cell phone reception is excellent.
Smoking is prohibited inside the house.  Conservative use of the septic system, water and electricity
is appreciated.  Although the house is not child-proof, children are welcome.

The Lake House Getaway is available year-round with a 1 week minimum
stay from June 24 through Labor Day. During the rest of the year, the house
is available by the night, weekend, week, month or long term.

Rates are "Housekeeping Ready". You must bring your own linens and
towels (blankets and pillows are supplied) and clean the house to the same or better condition you found
it in. Due to a few requests, we can sometimes provide linens and towels and clean after you leave for an
additional fee. Please inquire. Trash bags and cleaning supplies are provided.

January 1 - May 13: $800/week (Sunday - Sunday), $200/night
weekdays, $250/night weekends, $1200/month plus utilities, except
graduation weekends

May 13 - 27:  $900/week (Sunday - Suncay), $250/night weekdays, $300/night
weekends, except graduation weekends

Ithaca Graduation: $1000 for 2 nights, $300 each additional night

Cornell Graduation: $1500 for 3 nights, $300 each additional night

May 27 - June 24: $1200/week (Sunday - Sunday), $250/night weekdays, $300/night weekends

June 24 - September 2: $1500/week (Sunday - Sunday), add Labor Day for $300

September 2 - October 28: $1200/week (Sunday - Sunday), $250/night
weekdays, $300/night weekends(holidays)

October 28 - December 30: $800/week (Sunday - Sunday), $200/night
weekdays, $250/night weekends, $1200/month plus utilities, except Thanksgiving,
Christmas and New Years

A 50% (non-refundable) deposit due at the time of rental, balance
(also non-refundable) due 3 weeks prior to rental (bank checks or
money orders only) along with a $350 security deposit. A signed
rental agreement is required.  Please inquire about monthly rentals.

Security deposit will be refunded within 30 days after rental
provided no damages or excess cleaning is required.

The rental week goes from Sunday to Sunday. Check-in is 3 PM and
check-out is 10 AM.
