Our week at Sea Vista Estates was pure paradise. The house and grounds (pool and beach) were clean and well kept. The house had everything we needed, including full kitchen with blender and an outside gas grill. Carol gave us a tour of the property and checked on us daily to see if we needed anything - excellent customer service! We were worried about privacy with the houses being close together, but the houses are offset from each other and the landscaping kept our house and deck private from our neighbors. We were also worried about the boat and jet ski noise, but the ocean is shallow for a long way out (making for great fishing and snorkeling) so watercraft noise was minimal. Actually, the pelicans diving for fish were noisier than the boats! Key West is less than 30 minutes away. Plenty of activities at the house - fishing, kayaking, biking and swimming. Other guests have left games, books, puzzles, beach toys, pool toys and fishing poles. The Key West newspaper arrived every morning and we enjoyed reading it while drinking coffee on our deck looking at the beach and ocean. The grounds do have pesky little bugs (no-see-ums) and I had to use bug spray morning and evening. They did not bother my husband, but they loved me and my bites itched for days. This house is perfect if you are looking for a week away from the "rat race." We returned home relaxed and rejuvenated and already planning our next trip to Sea Vista Estates! All you need is sunscreen, bug spray, a book and a swimsuit.
