Harbor Star Cottage, a year round hideaway, is less than five minutes
from the Echo Lake entrance of Acadia National Park and walking
distance from the quaint and quiet town of Southwest Harbor.

This brand new cottage, with pinewood floors throughout is tastefully
and comfortably decorated. You will feel right at home as soon as you
walk in the door! The living room is cozy and inviting with a gas
fireplace, cable TV and wireless internet. The gourmet kitchen is
fully equipped with state of the art stainless steel appliances and
local granite countertops. The three bedrooms are spacious yet cozy
and are each furnished with queen sized beds. Two toddler beds are
also available, for families with little ones! The bathrooms are
equipped with a tank-less Rennai water heater, so you will never run
out of hot water!

The outside patio deck is surrounded by birch trees and wildlife.
There is also a gas barbeque grill for those cookouts on warm summer
nights!

Harbor Star Cottage offers three beautifully furnished bedrooms
with plush queen-size beds. Two of our bedrooms also offer a toddler
bed for the little ones. The gourmet kitchen has locally harvested
granite counter tops, top of the line stainless steel appliances and
a smooth top stove. Also in the kitchen, we provide everything you
need to prepare your meals then dine on our large dining room table
that will seat six adults and a small table that will sit two small
children. Sit by the firplace and read a book in the comfortable
living room furnished with beautiful furniture or enjoy a movie on
the High Definition flat screen. We also have broadband wireless
internet if you need to stay connected. Harbor Star Cottage has two
lovely bathrooms with plush towels and a Rennai Tankless Water Heater
so you will never run out of hot water. Other amenities include a
full size washer and dryer, cofee maker,
blender, gas grill, and ice-maker.

Harbor Star Cottage is located on the 'quiet side' of Mount Desert
Island, convenient to many outdoor activities on the Island and
Acadia National Park such as canoeing, hiking, biking, swimming and
carriage rides, yet only a scenic 15 mile drive to the shops and
restaurants of Bar Harbor. The cottage is located about 4.3 miles
from picturesque and historic Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse, 1.5 miles
from Long Pond, and 3 miles to Echo Lake Beach.
