Hans Basecamp in Yosemite

Hans's Basecamp is in the heart of Yosemite National park. - eight
miles from the scenic Rostrum overlook and Badger Pass ski resort,
eleven miles from the Wawona Tunnel overlook, thirteen miles to El
Capitan Meadow, twenty two miles from the Mariposa Giant Sequoia
Grove, 14 miles from the Wawona stables, restaurant, and golf course.

This is a simple mountain house. There are three bedrooms, two have
their own decks, then one large deck off the family room. One
room,(White Wolf room), has a bunk bed and a queen, sleeps four. Two
rooms have queen beds,(Sun and Squirrels nest), living room has small
sofa. We can put a futon out. Total "bed space" - ten people. All beds
in our home are "traditional mattresses" except the Queen in the
Squirrels Nest which is a raised FUTON BED. - that means you should be
used to a FIRM mattress or like/love futon beds.- we do.

We make no illusions about our home and guests give us good feedback...

WE DO have an extensive library of DVDs and Videos with an 18" TV. We
do NOT have a 4 ft Plasma, satellite connected, 100 channel TV.

WE DO have spices and most pots, pans, dishes, glasses, mugs,
silverware etc.. That one might need.

We do NOT have fancy china or Martha Stewart Alclad stuff. We do NOT
have a dishwasher. WE DO have all the linens, towels, etc. you will
need. WE WILL take care of cleaning all the linens upon your
departure. If you want linens washed sometime during your stay, there
is a $100 fee each time it is needed. The phone use is free and
accepts calls, dials locally, or long distance.

There IS electric thermostat controlled baseboard heat in the white
wolf room. A gas fireplace in the living room is thermostat and/or
manually controlled. There is radiant heat in the other rooms.

WE DO have a library of normal and audio books, and a small selection
of games.

We Do have spots on the rugs and eclectic furniture. We do NOT have
leather sofas or a giant brick fire place.(there is a gas fireplace)

We have people return to the home.

Climbing, hiking, fishing, golfing, sightseeing:
bird-waterfalls-cliffs-mountains-river-trees..., kayaking, rafting,
swimming, horseback riding, biking, and general adventure.

NON-Holiday rates:
$160/night if you use whole home and only one bedroom
$195/night if you use whole home and only two bedrooms
$230/night if you use whole home,(all three bedrooms)

HOLIDAYS rates apply: Thanksgiving, XMAS & New Years, Easter and MAY
1st to September 30th. see below.

$200/night if you use whole home and only one bedroom
$250/night if you use whole home and only two bedrooms
$300/night if you use whole home,(all three bedrooms)

I allow you 3 people if you rent only one room, which has a queen and
a bunk bed set. 5 people for two rooms and 6 people for the whole
home. I charge $25 per person per night for exceeding those numbers.

There is a 11% county bed tax and tourism fee that all rentals in this
area charge. as do I.

There are no other deposits, fees, or other charges.
