Close by are the Kennedy Memorial & the Hyannis Yacht Club. Hyannis
Harbor is a few minutes walk and offers fishing & sailing charters as
well as ferries to the Islands of Nantucket & Martha's Vineyard. Also
within walking distance play the Hyannis Mets of the Cape Cod
baseball league; a breeding ground for major leaguers; the season
extends from June to mid August. Some 190 graduates of the program
played in the major leagues last year. Departing from Hyannis center(
ten minute walk) is a scenic tour aboard the Cape Cod Railroad; the
two hour tour passes cranberry bogs,marshes, the seacoast and Cape
Cod Bay. Another attraction in Hyannis center is the Cape Cod Melody
Tent where stars such as Tony Bennett, Aretha Franklin and Lyle
Lovett perform. Much to do and enjoy!!!!
