Home on the Pine River-a Blue Ribbon Trout Stream in Cadillac

This beautiful secluded home is located on the Pine River, Michigan's premiere paddlesports and trout fishing river. It is designated a "National Wild & Scenic River" and a "Blue Ribbon Trout Stream." The spacious front deck is 30 feet from the water's edge; the wall of windows facing the river affords a fantastic view of the river and the wildlife that call it home. The area teems with wildlife . . . eagles searching for trout, numerous species of waterfowl and furbearers, and the large and small game species, the wildlife viewing opportunities never end.
The living room, dining room, & kitchen have 1/4-log pine walls and a knotty pine cathedral ceiling. The comfortable loft overlooks the river and is furnished as a second living room or visiting room. There are 3 bedrooms, an office with a desk, and 2 full baths. There are 2 queen beds, 2 twin-size beds, and a queen-size sleeper couch. The extra room off from the garage has 2 twin-size beds and a ½ bath. This room is carpeted and finished off in knotty pine. The home comfortably sleeps 10 people. Two large decks invite you to relax and enjoy the sights, smells, and sounds of the river valley. A spotless home inside and out, we do not allow pets, and we do not allow smoking inside the home.

INSIDE:
Fully equipped kitchen includes refrigerator/freezer, electric oven & gas cook top stove, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffeepot, dishes, utensils, pots and pans. Washer and dryer, T.V. w/VCR & DVD (unfortunately we're unable to recieve network channels. We suggest you bring some favorite movies), bedding, towels . . . completely ready for your arrival!
OUTSIDE:
Large and inviting yard, picnic tables, fire-ring w/adjustable cooking grate, lots of complimentary dry firewood, and lots of room to set up the horseshoes, badminton, or volleyball nets, each of which is kept in the storage shed. Also complimentary commercial inner tubes for refreshing floats down the river. Concrete driveway doubles as a basketball court.

Canoe, kayak, raft, hike, snowmobile, dirt bike riding, mountain bike riding, x-country ski, snowshoe, swimming, tubing, bird watching . . .
Through the Pine River Paddlesports Center, there are several river trips you can choose from, one of which that ends up right back at the house. You could canoe, kayak, or raft! Do you like to hike, snowshoe, or x-country ski? The trailhead for the Silver Creek Pathway is a 2-minute walk from the house. This marked trail, maintained by the DNR, winds through the forest alongside the river, takes you across a footbridge and back to the point of beginning, it is about 3 mile long. Some of the gorgeous vistas from the trail give you a bird's eye view of the winding river valley. Do you like to snowmobile or ride ATV's? From the house, just 1/4 mile up the road, you can access the state's Lincoln Hills ORV/Snowmobile Trail. This expansive trail travels through Lake and Wexford Counties. Caberfae Ski Area is just a 15-minute drive. And of course, right from the comfort of this home you can swim, tube, sunbathe, read, fish, picnic, and relax.
Property abuts thousands of acres of Pere Marquette State Forest and Manistee National Forest lands, superb hunting and fishing area.

Nightly Rates . . $200/1st night based on 1 to 2 guests, $100/each
additional night.
Weekly Rates . . $680/week (6 nights 7 days) based on 1 to 2 guests.

Check in is 2:00 p.m. the day of arrival.
Check out is 11:00 a.m. the day of departure.
