Picture a beautiful warm day at the Rhode Island shore---after soaking up a few rays at the beach, walk back to your rental home, stow the beach gear in the storage room and head for the outside shower or the other two inside showers.  As the men bond around the grill on the rear deck, others in the party may enjoy a glass of wine and relax on the front upper deck overlooking Greenhill Pond.

            After viewing a beautiful sunset over the pond, you gather in the Great Room—some playing a board game on the large dining room table while others view a Red Sox game or DVD on the two leather sofas.  For those that want a little solitude, pull a chair onto the lower front deck or relax and read in the small middle floor sitting room.

            Gather the next morning and pull up a stool for breakfast around the island in the Great Room.  If you plan to skip the beach for a day, consider taking a walk to the end of the twin peninsulas or visit one of the following attractions:  historic Newport mansions; Block Island; Mystic Seaport/Aquarium; Connecticut casinos.  Going out to Rte. 1 in either direction for about 20 minutes leads you to great restaurants, fast food, supermarkets, and shopping centers.  If you must find out what’s happening at work or have to check your email, drive about six minutes to the great Cross Mills Library and use a public computer or use their free wifi.  You can’t beat the Rhode Island shore!!

The home has cable TV,outdoor gas grill, outdoor shower,dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer.

You're a short drive from the Indian casinos in nearby Southeast Connecticut, historic Newport mansions,and shopping and restaurants in Providence.
