    This charming private studio  apartment on the second floor of a thoughtfully updated ca.1910 home features a compact fully equipped kitchen,  HD television, cable and broadband wireless internet access, queen-sized wall bed.  This is a smoke-free building with residential non-commercial ambience.

We loved staying here and have already booked for next year. Dina, the live in manager is wonderfull(and her sisters who where visiting) Very Quiet, "nice" residential neighbourhood and nice little back yard for BBQ's and your morning coffee. We slept in every day, our unit was above the garage on the side ally, no road noise, even the front road is only busy mornings and early evening (people going to and coming home from work)
It was close to lots of good restaurants, we walked past them every night(they were all busy)on the way to the park & huge fishing pier with fine dining and fast food places. Lots of grocery stores within 1.5 miles
It is only 5 mins from Interstate 275. It took us only about 14 mins to drive to Treasure Island beachs. There is a small beach the other side of the park (5 mins walk)We had no problems with the unit at all, very CLEAN, bit small, but had all we needed and is as shown on the web site. Comfortable Murphy wall bed (good matress and topper) which we left down the whole time we were there.
The A/C was barely able to keep up on 80 degree days, Time for a new one or bigger unit.
Can't beat the price.
We sometimes camp at Fort Desoto and this was not much more money than camping. The complimentary laundry was a nice touch.

There were many events happening in the park up 5 mins walk up the street. Concerts, Xmas tree lighting and we just missed the rib fest the day we checked in, Trace Adkins was playing there that night. The whole area is full of public parks.

Recommended for: sight seeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway

I had lived in St.Petersburg for ten years and knew this was the nicest part of town to be in. I had no idea this apartment would be so nice and so comfortable. You can not come close to this price anywhere and you certainly cannot get any closer to all of the happenings in downtown St. Petersburg. The neighborhood is beautiful. The waterfront park and marina are across the street. Shops and restaurants are right around the corner. I will hopefully use this apartment everytime I go to Florida for a visit, if it is not booked. PERFECT PLACE / PERFECT PRICE

Recommended for: age 55+, girls getaway, sight seeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway

My wife and I enjoyed our stay here very much. The owners were gracious and helpful and their 1 bedroom apartment was very clean and we felt like we were home from the very first day. We were given information about the area and about up coming events that we were able to take advantage of and enjoy. We would highly recommend this rental to anyone who enjoys the theater,arts and water activities. Everything is within walking, biking or public transportation. We had a most enjoyable stay and look forward to going back.
