Up a winding private driveway lies this saltbox style home with pretty mountain views set on a quiet wooded 15 acre setting. Conveniently located a short distance from Eagle Lake , the Acadia Park entrance and Bar Harbor. Our home is perfect for those looking for park and town access as well as privacy. Tatefully decorated interiors, comfortable furnishings and a refreshingly spacious and open living area create a warm and relaxing home to enjoy with family and friends of up to eight.
First Floor: Acadia Retreat features tiled and hardwood floors at this level. Off the entry way you'll find a lovely sunlit living room featuring a catheral ceiling and fire place. An 8 foot glass sliding door off the living room invites you to a deck with outdoor seating and a gas grill. Surrounded by 15 acres of dense forest, the trees, birds and wildlife serenade you day and night. The living room opens into the dining room which seats 8 and features two large cantilevered windows. The large fully applianced modern tiled kitchen area flows directly off the dining room and offers plenty of counter and preparation space.
The large first floor master bedroom has a queen sized bed and has direct acess to a full bath with a hydro massage tub and a radiant ceiling lamp for a cozy warm up after your bath or shower.
Second Foor : A loft area overlooks the living room and is complete with a quiet
reading nook which contains books and games for a relaxing time. A full bathroom is located on this level. Additionally, you'll find three bedrooms off the loft area which contains one queen bed & two double beds. Two of these bedrooms feature wood ceilings with sky lights that are perfect for star gazing.
Enjoy the best of both worlds while vacationing in our home. The
quiet and peace of our wooded site and our convenient location that
is only 5 miles from Acadia National Park and only 6.5 miles from the
excitement of downtown Bar Harbor.
