Coastal Maine Log Home with Kayaks & Canoe in Damariscotta Lake

Come and enjoy our log cottage located on Damariscotta Lake one of
Maines finest and cleanest lakes. Damariscotta Lake is over 13 miles
long and is home to an abundance of wildlife. You can spend the
afternoon paddling our Old Town Loon Kayaks out of the cove or just
spend some time on the private sand beach adjacent to the cottage.
The dock and float waterfront are for your use only and the
watercraft do come with paddles and adult life jackets. The cottage
is 3 bedroom with a large sunroom that does have a foldout futon. The
new kitchen is equipped with an electric range,dishwasher,coffee pot,
toaster and microwave. The living and dining area are spacious with a
brick fireplace on one end of the room.

The outside deck does have patio furniture and a stainless grill for
cooking those summer barbecues. The television is furnished with a
satellite connection and does have HBO and free movies. There is also
a DVD player with a limited number of DVD available in the cottage.
The waterfront does have a sand beach area which is great for
toddlers and young swimmers. THe water is warm during the summer
months and is clean for swimming or fishing. There are a range of
fish from small mouth bass to Brown Trout in the lake and we can
supply a rod and reel upon request. You will need to secure a fishing
license from a local shop before you go after the "Big One".

The cottage is located in Nobleboro on the shores of Damariscotta
lake which is about 5 minutes for the village of Damariscotta. The
town has many fine restaurants and talented artisans who have opened
many shops in the area. The ocean beaches are located 15 minutes
South of town and the views are spectactular. The Light House at
Pemaquid Point is also a great location to spend the afternoon
watching the surf crash on the granite ledge. The Stonewall riding
stables is located nearby on the rural West Neck Road. The waterfront
deck has sunset views and does have a stainless grill for your
grilling pleasures. The backyard is large and will accommodate a
quick soccer game or volley ball.
