Lovely 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath duplex located within walking distance of the ski slopes at Timberline Resort. Relax after a day on the slopes in the outdoor hot tub or warm up in front of the gas fireplace. Woods End guests have use of a fishing pond and tennis courts. Hiking and mountain biking trails abound. Rental guests also have use of Mirror Lake located nearby at the rental office with fishing, swimming, canoeing and paddle boating.
The Canaan Valley area averages 150 inches of natural snow each winter. There area two downhill ski areas, Canaan Valley and Timberline Resort, one nordic ski area, White Grass, plus miles of skiable trails at the state parks, national forest and wildlife refuge. Summers average a cool 75 degrees; escape to the valley and get away from the summer heat! From the beautiful spring wildflowers to the magnificent fall leaves; Canaan Valley has something special to offer anytime of year!
