Spruce Lane in Tenants Harbor

The property is a cozy, well-appointed cottage located in the charming seaside village of Tenants Harbor, Maine. The house has three bedrooms, (one full bed, four twin beds) one full bath, an eat-in kitchen and fireplace living room with vaulted ceiling. A large screened-in porch w/vaulted ceiling houses a large picnic table for eating and enjoying ocean views. A small deck is also present. The house is surrounded by majestic pine trees which afford privacy and shade during the summer months. The harbor and village, which include restaurants, fishing access, a general store and water access are all within short walking distance. Local activities abound throughout the year, including Rockport Bay Chamber Concerts, Lobster & Blues Festivals & Exhibits at the Farnsworth Art Museum in Rockland, Union County & Common Ground Fairs, 4th of July parade in Tenants Harbor & Thomaston, St. George's Day Celebration in Tenants Harbor, local day camps for children & families (Blueberry Cove 4H-Tanglewood), and much more!

There are three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a full-sized bed, chest of drawers, night stand, chair and full closet. The second bedroom has two twin beds, chest of drawers, night stand, chair and full closet, the third bedroom has a twin bed and a pull out twin cot, chest of drawers, night stand, chair and full closet. The sofa in the living room is also a full-size bed sleeper sofa. Pillows, blankets and bedspreads are provided. Guests must supply their own linen sets and towels.
The kitchen consists of full stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, blender, all needed utensils & cookware (including a lobster pot), dish soap, sponges, paper towels, napkins, etc. Toilet paper and hand soap are provided for the bathroom. There is dial-up internet access, a cable TV w/VCR, book library, VCR library, radio, alarm clock, games for children & adults, puzzles, firewood is supplied, water is filtered, charcoal provided for grill.

Biking, beach, hiking, ferry trips to Monhegan Island and Vinal Haven, chartered sailboats out of Camden; Owl’s Head Transportation Museum (old cars, airplanes, motorcycles, etc.); plenty of lighthouses to visit and Rockland's Lighthouse Museum; theatre and chamber music in Camden and Rockport; good restaurants from clam shacks to the organic, high end restaurant Primo, local artisans from textiles to potters, the Farnsworth Art Museum in Rockland, which houses works from Andrew and Jamie Wyeth, nearby public tennis courts, baseball fields and playground equipment, fish and lobster to purchase from local wharves, art gallery openings, deep sea fishing, airplane/glider rides, shopping in Camden, great views from Penobscot Bay Observation Tower and Bridge, Mount Battie hiking & auto-access road, local masseuse, championship golfing at Samoset Resort Golf Club, local cinemas in Rockland, garden tours, scenic railway tours by Maine Eastern Railroad and much more!!!

For the 2009 calendar: Rate is $700 per week (includes 7% state tax) during May through September 11th. Minimum stay is weekly during this period - discounts may be given for multiple weeks. Rate is $700 per week (includes 7% state tax) or $100/day (includes 7% state tax) during September 12th through October 31st. Minimum stay during this time is two nights - discounts may also be given for multiple weeks.
