A Cabin in the Woods in Cherry Valley

The cabin is nestled on 26 wooded acres. The master bedroom has a
California king sized bed, the living room has a fireplace and
cathedral ceiling. The loft contains two small bedrooms each
containing a single bed. The screened porch is lovely for sitting
out at night or during the day.

The kitchen has an electric stove, dishwasher, microwave and a water
cooler with bottled water available for drinking. The basement has a
washing machine and dryer. A TV is in the living room with a DVD player. 
There is also wood outside for use in the fireplace. There are linens for
the beds and towels in the bathroom. A barbeque and picnic bench is outside.

The cabin is located 16 miles from Cooperstown in the Town of
Roseboom. There is hiking available in the state land a half a mile
down the road and fishing in the resevoir about 3 miles down the
road. The general store in Roseboom offers gasoline and food items
and a post office. Cherry Valley is 7 miles away offering a lovely
museum, an excellent restuarant and cafe. Sharon Springs is also 7
miles away with an Italian restaurant, the famous American Hotel
with a fine restaurant, and there are a few shops that are a must
see. Naturally, Cooperstown has the Baseball Hall of Fame and quite
a few restaurants and cafes. Howes Caverns is located a half hours
drive in Cobleskill.

The cabin may be rented from May through September. Pets are welcome
if they are cleaned up after and well tended. Check in is 3:00 p.m.
Friday and departure is 9:00 a.m. the following Friday. Rates are
$800.00 per week including utilities except for induction weekend. A deposit of $200 for the
rental with the balance due 14 days prior to arrival. A deposit of $150 for the rental is
required and will be returned upon inspection of the cabin at check-
out. No refund will be given for cancellations 30 days prior to
arrival. Only persons booked will be permitted residence in the
cabin.  Cabin is available for rental only by the week on a Friday to Friday basis.
