The buses are wonderful and taxis are everywhere. Cheaper and easier to grab a cab than rent a car. Cab ride to town is $3.50-$7.00 depending on how far you go.
Food and Supplies:
The condo is totally equipped to cook, shopping is easy but restaurants are inexpensive and fabulous. The food is fresh and delicious.
You can walk to the corner store for supplies or two blocks to a decent sized market. There is a Supermarket further down the road. Our housekeeper can help you out.
In the immediate area there are 3 nice places to eat. One is pictured in the photos. Recently at El Oasis Restaurant a fine meal for two with bar drinks and tip costs us 450 pesos. That is about $33 US. This is an oceanfront wonderful restaurant, just a couple minutes from the condo.
What to Bring:
For a one week stay you need few light clothes, comfortable shoes, bathing suits, sun hat, beach towel, music recorded on USB sticks and a good book...and not much else.
Bugs:
Mosquito repellent just for sunset walks, otherwise not an issue except in the summer.
villa rental amenities
We offer beach umbrellas in our home to make a beach day all the more comfortable. Ceramic dishware, quality flatware, a stereo with USB, Egyptian linens, and many other amenities to make your stay more enjoyable.
Our housekeeper will prepare the home for you, come once during your weeks stay to change sheets, tidy up, she will come .
The beach is stunning and getting around is easy. The condo has everything you need to enjoy your time. The 3 mile beach is the finest around, the sand is soft and the waves gentle, sunset swimming, moonlit walks.
