Casa  Playa Sombrero is a unique and glamorous home situated on a 
secluded beach in southern pacific Costa Rica.  It is located on a 
spacious property that has been landscaped with much care to promote 
privacy and welcome wildlife.  This house was handcrafted and designed 
to give the feel of lavish, tropical, modern living.   
 
Casa Playa Sombrero has an open construction that allows for a steady 
ocean breeze throughout the living space and also provides both ocean 
and lush mountain views.  Upstairs has a large floorplan with a 
beautiful hardwood floor and a thatched roof ceiling.  This room 
provides two netted, king sized beds and a balcony with a spectacular 
view of the Golfo Dulce.  Downstairs has a cozy living space, bathroom 
and detached kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with professional 
appliances. Both the living area and kitchen open up to a full sized 
swimming pool and lounge area.  The pool has both deep and shallow 
areas and allows for a refreshing escape from the tropical climate.  
All of this adds for a unique experience be it a romantic vacation or 
a small family retreat.   
 
This private home is just steps away from Playa Sombrero, a long sandy 
beach that has been known to be a turtle nesting grounds.  It is also 
situated within close proximity to various other beaches, jungle 
hiking, and adventure activities.
