Come enjoy the beauty of the North Woods of Wisconsin. Spend sunny days wakeboarding, waterskiing, tubing, swimming on the lake. This home is located on the Three Lakes/Eagle River chain of lakes near Honey Rock Camp. This chain is one of the largest in the world and consists of 28 interconnected lakes so even in the busiest time of the summer these lakes are not crowded.
Canoe or kayak down a mirror-like lake at dusk while enjoying beautiful sunsets, the reflection of the moon over the lake, the majestic call of loons in the distance, more stars than you can imagine, and if your lucky, the splendor of the northern lights!
Our home is located about halfway between Eagle River and Three Lakes Wisconsin. Bike or hike the many trails in the nearby Nicolet National forest or the beautiful new 3 Eagle Trail that winds through the woods connecting the towns of Three Lakes and Eagle River. Nearby are numerous campgrounds, cross country ski trails, areas open for hunting, and many groomed snowmobile trails. Bring your fishing poles. The kids will delight in catching a variety of pan fish right of the dock and for the more avid fisherman there is good fishing for Walleye, Bass, Northern Pike and Musky.
Our home is set back only 30 feet from the water offering unparalleled views of the lake from the 2nd floor living and dining rooms and deck. The home has a classic North Woods charm with knotty tongue and grove paneling throughout, a wood burning fireplace and stove, and vaulted ceilings.
In addition to the living and dining areas, the upstairs has a large master bedroom with a king sized bed and walk in closet, guest bedroom, full bath with a whirlpool tub and shower, and kitchen. The downstairs is a walk out at the lake level which also provides great views of the lake. The downstairs is ideal for a second family or friends because it has its own bathroom and sleeping arrangements. It has a large living room furnished with a queen sized sleeper sofa, and a twin sized sleeper love seat. Adjacent to the living room is a full bath, bar area, and a utility room equipped with a washer and dryer.
The main entry to the house is off a large deck with fabulous views of the lake. The deck is a perfect area for entertaining with a gas grill, deck table and chairs.
Waterfront: Safe, gradual sloping sandy bottom, good for swimming with swim pier, separate boat pier with 3600 lb. Shore Station boat lift, use of 14 foot rowboat, and canoe.
In consideration of all our guests, some of whom are highly allergic; pets and smoking are not allowed. Outside smoking only. Cigarette butts MUST be disposed of properly. Also, we ask renters to be considerate of our neighbors on the lake and adhere to the 10:00 P.M. quiet rule.
