People come to Breckenridge to see the Rocky Mountains, this home gets you one step closer, not only do you see them but you are in them with epic views of Qunadary Peak. A short 10 minute drive from Main Street Breckenridge this quiet mountain home awaits. Your group won't be disappointed with with ample room for a group of 6-8.

The ground floor has a large 1 car garage providing enough room for you to store skis, bikes and toys alike. Upon entering hang up all your gear and head upstairs to warm up next to the fireplace. Please note there is a 1 bedroom apartment on this level that is owner occupied and long term rented at times.

The main floor won't disappoint with vaulted tongue and groove ceilings and larger than life views of the 10 Mile Range and picturesque Quandary Peak. The open floorplan of the LR, dining and kitchen create a natural gathering place for the family or group. Whether you find yourself planted on the 6 person couch to enjoy the fireplace or gawk at the mountain views it’s hard to get up once your commit to relaxing. The dining area can host 8 people and if friends decide to join there is seating for 3 more at the breakfast bar.

The top floor has the master suite along with a private bath including a steam shower and double vanities. Views from this floor are a quick reminder of why you come to Colorado. Across the loft is another bedroom with a walk in closet, if you need extra sleeping space or a place for the kids to hang out there is a rec room with pull out couch and TV.

Floorplan and layout

Master Suite Bedroom is located on 2nd floor with a 4 piece bath, closet and king bed.

Bedroom #1- located on the main floor with a queen bed, closet and TV shares a half bath with the LR.

Bedroom #2- located on the 2nd floor with a queen bed and walk in closet and shares a full bath with loft area.

Loft area- 2nd floor and has a pull out couch for 2, no closet and shares a full bath with bedroom #2.

Bathrooms- there is a half bath on the main floor, 2 full baths on the top floor. The only private bath is in the master bedroom.

Dining area seats 8 with 3 additional seats at the breakfast bar.

The LR has an L shaped couch that seats 6 and 3 of the seats recline.

Amenities- There is a large west facing deck for mountain viewing or grilling on the gas grill. The main living area is highlighted by the wood flooring on the and fireplace. This home has cable on one of the 3 TV's located in the LR, loft and master bedroom. There is internet, no land line 4 wheel drive is recommended for this property during the winter months, garage storage and off street parking for 4-5 cars. The lodging cost includes all linens and there is a fully stocked laundry room. Stereo, DVD and CD player in house. THIS IS A NO SMOKING/PETS HOME.

Essentials-

Check in is at 3pm check out is at 10am, 50% of lodging total is due at time of reservation and the 2nd half is due 30 days prior to check in. Cancellations made 30 days prior to arrival are refundable minus a $100 cancellation fee, within 30 days the lodging fee is non-refundable.

I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.

We are a family of 6 traveling from Texas. A few years ago we started renting a house as oppose to staying at hotels. So far, the cost and convenience all work in favor of having a house during our vacations. This house is located a little bit outside of Breck. Peace and quiet with no need to search for parking. We walk in and those huge windows in the living room gave it a big first impression of the house. Those views make it easy to stray from the itinerary especially if I'm a bit sore from hitting the slopes.

Things I love:
Full Kitchen
Towels
More than enough extra bedding
Garage - Nice not to have to scrape ice off in the morning
Open floor plan with a catwalk and loft upstairs

Things to know:
It is located higher up in elevation. Be sure to get acclimated beforehand or carry some Diamox
We had no problem driving up to the house. Had 4wd but didn't need to use it.

Finally:
Thanks to the owners for sharing their house. We had a wonderful time visiting Breckenridge. And thank you Erik for turning the heat up for us before we arrived. We are already looking forward to our next trip to Colorado.
