Wake up in the mornings and relax in the evenings with a spectacular view of the pristine salt-water marsh and ocean views and enjoy abundant native wildlife. This 2 bedroom/2 bath ocean view villa is located in a four building complex that includes a resort style pool and deli, indoor pool with exercise room, sauna, hot tub and track, and six lighted tennis courts. A private boardwalk takes you for a short walk along the salt marsh where you can enjoy the beach with the convenience of Cocos Beach Bar and Grill. If golfing is your game, the Resort is adjacent to Trent Jones Golf Courses at Palmetto Dunes. Something for the whole family to do without getting into the car. You could even ride a bicycle a short distance down to Shelter Cove for lunch or dinner and on the bike paths without crossing a road.

The villa has been recently updated and has hardwood and tiles floors throughout the interior. As you enter the villa you will find a well-equipped kitchen with dishes, pots and pans, coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher and everything you need as you would find in your own home. The kitchen opens up to the dining area where you can seat 4 at the dining table and 2 at the bar area.

The living room area is a great place to relax in a comfortable over sized couch overlooking a large HD flat screen TV with about 100 cable channels (40 high definition). There is a DVD player and small library of movies to enjoy.

The master bedroom will sleep 2 and has a wrought iron bed with an ocean view and has an adjoining bathroom. The second bedroom has a brand new bunk that has one over/two under and a standard twin and can comfortably sleep 4 and is a perfect retreat four your kids with the 20 inch HD flat screen TV, DVD player, Playstation 3, and Nintendo 64 system. Another bathroom is adjacent to the second bedroom and the rest of the villa.

Take a stroll on the 500-yard private boardwalk to the beach or ride the golf cart shuttle and enjoy the salt-water marsh wildlife. At the end of the boardwalk you find Cocos Beach Bar and Grill (closed during the winter). Enjoy cool drinks while listening to Caribbean music and order up something from the grill. If lounging in the sun is your thing, we provide all the beach essentials so leave your bulky beach chairs home and enjoy the sand and the surf. We provide two beach carts, 4 beach chairs, and 4 beach towels. You will be surprised that our beach is never crowded because the Resort and beach access is private. From Memorial Day to mid-August our beach has a life guard and rents umbrellas and beach chairs.

On the way back from the beach you could stop at one of the two outside pools. Next to the large resort style pool in Building One you will find The Island Grill and Deli which also has a convenience store and movie and bicycle rentals.

Hilton Head Resort is a private gated resort with 24-hour security and is centrally located on the island. The Resort and the villa is a great value while not sacrificing the quality and the many amenities of the more expensive resorts on the island.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Is the villa available for my requested dates?  I keep the reservation calendar current by one or two days.  If it shows the dates as shown as already reserved, then the villa is not available.  If it shows it open then it is most likely available unless someone just booked it.

How far is it to the beach?  It is about 500 yards and it is about a 3-4 minute walk.  The boardwalk crosses the marsh and numerous signs describe the indigenous wildlife and is quite enjoyable.  During the summer months you might be more inclined to get the beach is a short period of time, so we have 2 beach carts to load your beach gear and you can take the golf cart shuttle that makes the roundtrip on a posted schedule.  At the end of boardwalk you will find Cocos Bar and Grill along with bathroom facilities, so there should no be any reason for multiple trips.  We have included a photo from the upper floor of Building 1 to give you a relative perspective of the distance.

How many does the villa comfortably accommodate?  The villa will sleep 6 but is ideally configured for 2 adults and up to 4 children or 4 adults.  The Resort limits 4 adults/2 bedroom villa and is appropriate for our villa configuration.

Villa amenities include: full kitchen with microwave, coffee pot, and refrigerator (pots, pans, and utensils provided), HD flat screen TV with cable connection, DVD, linens provided with beach towels, wireless Internet, free and long distance  phone calls, indoor/outdoor pools, tennis, exercise room, jogging track, 24 hour security, free parking, outdoor BBQ charcoal grills, private beach access, deli and convenience store, beach bar and grill, coin-operated laundry, and much more. No smoking and no pets.
