Our retreat at Angler's Point is situated on 4 private acres overlooking Hogback Lake, a pristine 35 acre mountain lake in the heart of Sapphire Valley, close to Cashiers and Highlands. You will awaken to spectacular views and the sounds of nature--not jet-skis. Our lake accommodates paddles and electric motors only. Enjoy the lake or fish with our canoe.
Our vintage lakefront mountain lodge has been lovingly and totally restored with native woods, bark siding and stone. It features a large beamed great room with a stone fireplace, dining room, a game room with a stone fireplace, three bedrooms (2 Queen and 1 King (all pillow tops), three baths, thoroughly updated and well equipped granite kitchen, office/study, washer-dryer and lots of decks. The decks are gated to keep track of our four legged friends. Swim and canoe from the dock, enjoy a hike to nearby waterfalls. Watch the waterfowl, wild turkey, deer and the occasional beaver. Fish for big-mouth and trout. Play golf on a fabulous mountain course or just chill. Anglers Point is secluded yet centrally located with unique shopping and fine restaurants a short distance away. Access to Angler's Point is gated assuring complete privacy during your stay.
