A Beach Retreat in Ocean Bay Park, Sleeps 12 in Fire Island

Clean comfortable house in great location

This house was in a perfect location, within walking distance to the beach and restaurants/bars/market. The downstairs had a huge L-shaped room consisting of a kitchen, dining room, full bathroom and livingroom. The kitchen was fully equipped with two refrigerators, dishwasher and every type of utensil/pot you would need including a pizza oven. The diningroom could seat 10 comfortably and had a high chair. The living room was comfortable and had a woodburning stove, soundsystem, dvd player, vhs player and karaoke machine. The best part of downstairs were all the windows and beautiful front door. Upstairs has 4 bedrooms and a full bathroom. The beds were very comfortable and the linens were fresh and clean. The whole has was immaculate. The wraparound outside deck had a table and chairs, lounge chairs, barbecue and outdoor shower. We all had plenty of room and plan to return next year. Highly recommend.

Best way to spend a family vacation

This rental was everything we were hoping for while staying in OBP. For the past 6 years, we have been returning for a great week at the beach. The house was in the perfect location from the ferry, bars, and beach. The layout and amenities were excellent for multiple families sharing one house. Each family was able to stay in their own air-conditioned room which makes it quiet at night for the kids to sleep! During the days, parents were able to relax on the deck while watching the kids ride their bikes up and down the street. This year was very hot, so we were able to escape inside the air-conditioned main living area while the kids watched movies. The house was very clean and well kept. We can't wait until next year!!

Recommended for: age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car

Perfect Beach House Retreat. Sad to Leave!

We cannot say enough good things about this house. The location of this house is perfect, right near the ferry and a close walk to the beach, the market, and Ocean Bay Park’s popular bars and restaurants. The house was immaculate and had everything we could have wanted. Bedrooms are a great size, bathrooms are new and clean, and the deck is perfect to enjoy the summer weather! The living room, kitchen, and dining area are wide open, making the house very spacious and comfortable, especially for a group. The owners were great and helped with anything we needed throughout the entire rental process. We were so sad to leave but cannot wait to rent here again! Perfect beach house retreat!
