Memories await at "Sandy Chic", our freshly renovated, beautifully decorated Oceanfront home! If you have ever said, "Who cares, it's a rental" please don't bother inquiring. This home has fine finishings, beach antiques and a Nantucket feeling in Florida. We only want respectful renters interested in staying in a true home. The house is clean and crisp with neutral surroundings so that you may enjoy the serenity of the beach. By the time you leave, you may feel like it is your home - not a rental.

"Sandy Chic" is an oceanfront home with a large deck to enjoy the beautiful ocean. The house has a beautiful new kitchen with seaglass tile, white cabinets and stainless appliances. There are hardwood floors throughout the house and beautiful tiles. The house has a separate dining area overlooking the beautiful Guana State Nature Preserve. The 3 full bathrooms have been completely renovated and there are 4 bedrooms which have fresh, hi-quality linens, fresh towels and comfortable beds. There is one king bed, one queen, and two rooms each with 2 twin beds.
The extra large family room offers the perfect escape from the afternoon sun with panoramic views of the ocean, a vaulted ceiling and a stone fireplace. Enjoy the new high definition flat panel TV while you cruise the internet on the WiFi connection.

"Sandy Chic" is nestled between the soft sands of South Ponte Vedra Beach and The Guana State Park. Enjoy the vast views of the ocean from the rear of the home to the beautiful orange and pink sunsets that seranade over Guana Park. Stroll for sea shells and sharks teeth along this desolate strip of the beach, or drop a line for surf fishing. Enjoy the gentle ocean breeze under the shade of a large umbrella on the beach while your family plays in the afternoon tide pools or makes sand castles. Dig your toes into the sand while you count the dolphins and shrimp boats. The beach is usually full of sea life and free of people. Days may go by before you see another person on the beach.
Keep an alert eye for the turtle patrol atop their 4 wheel ATVs. Our family was fortunate enough to witness a turtle nest hatch last summer. I'll never forget the amazement in our children's eyes as they watched 30-40 baby sea turtles tirelessly crawl their way to the sea.
We are only a few miles from some wonderful restaurants on the water and a convenience store. We are approximately 10 minutes to major shopping areas.
Only 20 minutues away is historical St. Augustine, home to the infamous fort Castillo de San Marco. While there, enjoy a horse drawn carriage through the cobblestone streets or stroll along the many shops and restaurants. The St. Augustine Alligator Farm is about 20 minutes away. A wonderful day trip might be a trip to Walt Disney World or Sea World in Orlando a short 2+ hours away.

$500 damage deposit required for each rental of one week or less. Deposit will be processed, then refunded shortly refunds guaranteed within two weeks of departure, assuming no problems;  renters have option of paying $200 cleaning fee and do nothing but run a load of laundry, OR do some basic tidying (wash dishes, empty trash, etc.) and pay $150. Contact manager for specifics. 10% taxes additional. 

Weekly rates only for all holidays;

$300 up-charge for Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years weeks. All fees due 8 weeks in advance of arrival date.
