The Palms at Monarch Beach is the perfect place for a rendezvous for two, a week at the beach with the family, or a month long retreat with a loved one. Pamper and rejuvenate your soul in the heart of the California Riviera! It's perfectly situated to all of Southern California's entertainment amenities and very easy to find.  It's located just 60 minutes south from LAX and 30 minutes south of John Wayne Airport in Orange County. The Palms at Monarch Beach is just up the road from The O.C. Dana Point Harbor and downtown Dana Point. Located towards the northern section of Dana Point, it is just a short 15 min drive into the beautiful and 'artsy' seaside town of Laguna Beach.

The Palms is also convenient and within a short 15 minute drive (or a 30 minute bike ride for the more adventurous types) from the historic San Juan Capistrano where the Mission San Juan Capistrano and the quaint Los Rios District is surrounded with charming antique shops, restaurants, and art galleries. There's even a petting zoo for the smaller members in your family!

Come and enjoy the surf, sand, and sun at our local beach! Just a few steps away is one of Southern California's most famous beaches, The Strands at Salt Creek Beach. This same beach is frequented by guests of The Ritz Carlton and The St. Regis. Who knows? You might meet someone famous!

Afterwards, you many want to dress up a little and enjoy an evening out sampling the local seafood faire or plan an evening in making your favorite seafood chowder recipe you haven't had the time until now to make. Enjoy a morning walk amongst the palm and abundant flora to the local Starbucks across from the Ritz Carlton and St. Regis. Take a short stroll into downtown Dana Point and The O.C. Dana Point Harbor where there are numerous local shops and restaurants awaiting discovery. Educate yourself and your family about the local sea life and the oceans at the Orange County Marine Institute.

Within an hour (either north or south of Dana Point) you may choose to explore Disneyland, Newport Beach, Balboa Island, Catalina Island (Ferry leaves from Dana Point Harbor) San Clemente Pier, Knott's Berry Farm, Legoland (perfect for those under 12), Universal Studios, San Diego's Wild Animal Park, The San Diego Zoo, or the many theaters in Hollywood and surrounding theaters in Los Angeles area.  Drive a little further south past San Diego and enjoy an exotic adventure for the day in Tijuana, Mexico.
