Beautiful Lakeview Cottage, Convenient Location, WIFI in Traverse City

This vacation home has everything you need for a carefree, peaceful retreat or family getaway! Beautifully cozy and private, it is centrally located just 15 minutes from Traverse City on Duck Lake Peninsula.  Convenient to area lakes and golf courses, this spacious three bedroom home offers shared access to 1900-acre all-sports Duck Lake and sleeps up to 10, with comfortable northwoods furnishings throughout.  WIFI is also provided for your convenience.

The cottage is located in a quiet wooded neighborhood, surrounded by lake views - great for walking and biking. After a busy day, relax on the backyard deck surrounded by large hardwood trees, or build a campfire in the fire pit. Cook up a feast for your group in the fully-equipped kitchen or outdoor grill, or relax by the fireplace while watching your favorite movie or sporting event!

Lake access is located just across the street and at several other locations in the neighborhood, all within walking distance. Use of the neighborhood recreation area is also included, with playground, pavilion/picnic area, tennis court, basketball court, and volleyball. For those who enjoy fishing, the lake is well known for lake trout, northern pike, and other pan fish. A free boat launch is located about 1/2 mile away.

Bedrooms: A master bedroom with a queen-size bed is located on the main floor. Two bedrooms are located upstairs, one with a queen-size bed, the other furnished with two bunk beds. Each bunk has a twin bed on top and a full-size futon on the bottom. A new, full size spring futon is located in the living room. All bedding is provided.

Bathrooms: A full bath with tub/shower is located on the main floor, with a half bath in the hallway on the second floor. An additional, separate shower is also available on the first floor, convenient for swimmers.
