Beautiful All-Season Cottage - Lake Access, Internet in Traverse City

Enjoy all the comforts of home in classic northern Michigan style!  Cozy and private, this well-maintained vacation home has everything you need for a carefree, peaceful retreat or family getaway.  It's conveniently located just 15 - 20 minutes from Traverse City in a beautiful wooded community surrounded by lake views - great for walking and biking.  A lake access area for swimming and picnics is located across the street and at several other locations in the community, including a private boat launch.  Use of the community recreation area is also included, with playground, covered pavilion, tennis court, basketball court, and volleyball net.

Duck Lake is a 1900-acre all-sports lake with clear water, sandy bottom, and is also an excellent lake for fishing.  Or, spend your day exploring Lake Michigan beaches, dunes, and quaint lakeside towns, all within a 30-40 minute drive.  After a busy day, relax on the backyard deck surrounded by large hardwood trees, or build a campfire in the fire pit. Cook up a feast for your group in the fully-equipped kitchen or outdoor grill, or relax by the fireplace while watching your favorite movie or sporting event!

Home is professionally cleaned and maintained after each guest.  Smoking is not permitted inside home.

Bedrooms: A master bedroom with a queen-size bed is located on the main floor. Two bedrooms are located upstairs, one with a queen-size bed, the other furnished with two bunk beds. Each bunk has a twin bed on top and a full-size futon on the bottom. A full-size spring futon is also located in the living room. All bedding is provided.

Bathrooms: A full bath with tub/shower is located on the main floor, with a half bath in the hallway on the second floor. An additional, separate shower is also available on the first floor, convenient for swimmers.

Fully-Equipped Kitchen: Extra-large Refrigerator, Stove, Microwave, Dishwasher, All Cookware & Utensils,  Place-Settings for 10+, Coffee Maker, Toaster, Crock Pot

Plus: Central Air Conditioning/Heat, High-Speed Wireless Internet, Full-Size Washer & Dryer, Soft Water, Cable TV/DVD/Stereo, Gas Fireplace, Ceiling Fans.  Rooms have over-sized windows and patio doors providing plenty of natural light and easy access to decks.  Paper Towels, Hand Soap, Laundry Soap, and Toilet Paper also included.

Outside: Decks (Front and Back), Two Umbrella Tables with Seating for 10+, Campfire Ring, 2 Bikes, Gas Grill (BBQ)

$1650 / Summer Week (Sunday to Sunday)

Spring and Fall:

      $1000 / Week

      $750 Memorial Day or Labor Day weekend (3 nights)

      $650 / Non-Holiday weekends (2 or 3 nights)

Plus 6% Michigan sales tax.  Cleaning fee and high-speed internet are INCLUDED with all rentals.
