Great cottage overlooking Fife Lake. Two bedrooms, one queen and one double. Sleeper sofa in living room and twin bed on all-season, enclosed front porch. Tongue-in-groove pine ceilings with beautiful kitchen and eating area featuring a bay window. Screened in cedar and pine back porch.

Fully furnished including microwave, dishwasher, washer and dryer. Linens provided. Fireplace, charcoal grill, boat mooring at shared dock one block north for boating and swimming. From the cottage location there is a great view of lake. Easy 15 min. walk to downtown where there is a large sandy beach, swimming area, and picnic tables on the grass.

Fife Lake is 25 minutes southeast of Traverse City in Grand Traverse County just off of highway 131. There is great bass, walleye, and panfish fishing on Fife Lake. A public boat ramp is located at the downtown village beach just minutes from the cottage. Fife Lake offers a new library(Wi-Fi equipped), resturants, museum, grocery store, hardware, etc. Picturesque Mirror Lake is two blocks from the cottage with swimming and fishing available. Many other lakes and streams are nearby for kyaking boating and other water sports.
Traverse City hosts many tourist activities throughout the year. Major attractions include the National Cherry Festival, July 2-9, and the Traverse City Film Festival July 28-August 2. Many nearby towns offer additional shopping, antiquing, great restaurants, entertainment. Biking and hiking trails abound. Golf courses are plentiful and the beauty of the great lakes and Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes make touring a delight.
Add to all this, local winery tours and tastings, concerts at Interlochen Arts Academy, and fall color tours provide you with a funfilled vacation. You might also just want to sit on the front porch enjoying an evening breeze, a good book, and the haunting calls of loons coming across the lake.
