Serenity Hill Cabin in Douglas Lake

Enjoy beautiful mountain and lake views from this secluded, luxury cabin. Serenity Hill Cabin sits high upon a 1.92 acre lot, offering breathtaking views of English Mountain and the main channel of Douglas Lake.

The cabin is tastefully decorated with Thomas Kincaid prints adorning the walls. The large game room in the loft has air hockey, foosball, and electronic darts. The large wrap around deck offers wide open views from 3 sides. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, along with a Jacuzzi in a romantic setting - and there's also a 4-person hot tub on the deck right outside the bedroom door. The spacious, upstairs bedroom also has a king-size bed, along with a window seat overlooking the lake. Two queen-size sleeper sofas (one in the living room in front of the wood-burning fireplace, and the other in the upstairs game room) bring the cabin's sleeping arrangements to a total of 8 guests.

If you can manage to break away from the tranquil setting in search of action, you can take the back roads into the heart of Sevierville (20 miles), Dollywood (28 miles) or the scenic route to light #3 in Gatlinburg (38 miles). These back roads are really beautiful...kind of like Cades Cove without the bumper to bumper traffic! Or, jump on I-40 (5 miles) and you can be in Asheville in about an hour.

But you might just want to stay at the cabin and relax...a lot of our guests do. Even if they do get out, they like to make it back in time to watch the sunset over the lake. That's also a good time to spot some white-tailed deer, wild turkeys, a red fox or two, and maybe even a bald eagle!

No matter what you like to do, Serenity Hill Cabin has a lot more to offer than just a comfortable stay, terrific views, and exciting things to see and do. It also offers peace and serenity. Now, isn't that really what a vacation is all about?
