Kiddville Ranch Old Gold Mining Camp in Custer

The home was originally an 1895 boarding house for the mining camp of Kiddville (long ago abandoned). In the 1930's, it was remodeled into a private home/ranch.  In 2007, the home was again remodeled and modernized. The original assay office is yet on the property, as well as the caretakers home, corral, a cabin, and a barn. Kiddville is 38 private acres adjoining the Black Hills National Forest, 8 miles NW of Custer, 10 miles from Crazy Horse Memorial, and 20 miles from Mount Rushmore. There are 5 miles of well maintained gravel country road enroute to the home.  No other inhabited dwellings on the property = solitude for you!  The setting is peaceful, and the area abounds with deer, elk, turkeys, squirrels, birds, and the great smell of pine.

$130 per night for up to 4 people ($15/person/night for additional people), Sept 1-May 14.

5% Lodging tax
