Romantic Lake Lure Waterfront Cottage in Lake Lure

If you remember the film the Summer of 42 this little cottage on Lake Lure with delight you. The wonderful board and batton cottage is filled with art and antiques, has 2 bedrooms on the main floor, one with a queen sized bed, the other with a full sized bed that over looks the lake. There is a lovely sitting/sleeping porch for meditating to the sound of the lake. In the lower area you will find a sleeping cubby with a set of bunk beds for the kids or adventurous adults. The cottage has one full bath, one half bath with a washer/dryer combo. On the lower level there is a new kitchen with dishwasher, stove, and frig. There are porches galore with tables and chairs, and a grill. On the dock you will find 2 kayaks and a canoe for your use as well as a lovely swimming and fishing area. If you want to get away from it all this is the cottage where new memories can be made and old ones renewed.

In the area there are numerous attractions including the new Chimney Rock State Park, Lake Lure Boat Tours, Horseback riding, a sandy beach at the head of the lake with a kids park and lifeguards and Water Skiing Lessons are available with a local provider , and there is shopping galore in Lake Lure, Hendersonville, and the Asheville Areas which are all less than 25 miles away. There are also numerous festivals throughout the summer..
