Brooks Lake A Frame in Newaygo

The Brooks Lake A Frame is a very private retreat. It sits on a
quiet bayou with two different views of the water. The 100 foot
frontage offers two docks, complete with a small row boat and paddleboat.
This spacious cottage boasts 3 levels of comfortable living, complete
with 4 decks. The loft bedroom has 2 twin beds and another single bed on the
loft's balcony, the two main floor bedrooms each have a queen size bed,
and the walk out level has one room with 2 twin beds, and the other has a full size bed.
Additionally, the lower family room has a full size futon that sleeps two.
The lower level also features a bar area for entertaining. Take advantage
of the two cozy gas fireplaces during winter months - the first is on the main
floor while the second is on the lower level.
We do ask that you smoke outdoors in respect to the owner's asthma.
There is plenty of room for kids to play in either the front or
backyards. We even have a small sandy beach area at the water's
edge. Water can be accessed right in front of the cottage with the
levels starting at about a foot deep.
You will be able to invite the whole family as there is dinner
seating inside for 16 people while the tables outside accommodate 10
more.

The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, silverware, cookware and
utensils. Major appliances include: stove, refridgerator,
microwave, dishwasher, coffeemaker, toaster and mixer. NOTE: Cottage
is on a septic and there is no garbage disposal.
There are towels available for the bathrooms and showers but we ask
that you bring your own beach towels.
The bedrooms are comfortably furnished and include sheets, pillows,
blankets, and comforters. Rooms have either a ceiling or floor fan.
All bedding and towels used will need to be cleaned and replaced.
Renters who fail to do so will be charged a $50.00 Service Fee.
General Amenities include a TV, VCR, videos, books, board games,
washer/dryer, iron, stereo, and hairdryer and large gas grill.
NOTE: There IS also cable TV and wireless internet.
For your boat safety there are 2 child size life jackets, two adult
life jackets and 2 floating boat cushions.

Located just minutes away, downtown Newaygo offers a variety of
activities including; shopping, dining, swimming, fishing, boating,
canoeing, tubing, festivals, antiquing, biking, mini-golf and night
life. Just one lake over is The Smugglers Cove Restaurant,
offering lake side dining on beautiful Hess Lake.

The Brooks Lake A Frame is available June-September for a rate of
$1500 per week with the exception of July 4th which will be $1700.
Off season October-May rates are $1000 per week or $250 per night
with a two night minimum stay.

We require a 50% deposit within one week of reserving the cottage to
hold the week. The remaining 50% is due 3 weeks prior to the
arrival date along with a $500 security deposit. The deposit will
be returned within two weeks of departure.
Renters who opt to rent the cottage for the two night minimum stay
will be required to pay for both nights and the security deposit at least one week in advance.
In case of cancellation we will attempt to rebook the cottage for
the week. If the cottage can not be rebooked all funds paid will be
forfeited less the security deposit.
