This is a serene, beautiful area to relax and reconnect with family. The house sits on an ideal angle right on the ocean so you get to enjoy the waves, Goat Island, and the beautiful crescent shaped beach. We enjoyed the simplistic layout of the house which takes advantage of the views and has a fantastic great room. Master suite below had welcomed privacy and ocean views. Garden is beautiful too. We snorkelled, rented a kayak on the beach and really enjoyed the drives to Pipeline, Dole Plantation, Polynesia Center and even the small village with Foodland, Icecream shop etc. Come and enjoy a slice of paradise!

We had a wonderful stay. There were 9 people in our group with plenty of room for all of us. The view was spectacular. Loved falling asleep to the sound of the ocean. Enjoyed that we could BBQ as well as have a full kitchen to use. Had a great time on the North Shore, loved it's slower pace. So very glad we stayed here.

We needed to get away for a few days so we found this quaint Oahu beachfront house with dramatic views. Everything was in order: clean, nice furnishings and peace and quite. We spent hours on the deck and watched the windsurfers with a view of Goat Island in the background. Our stay exceeded all the great things we read in the reviews and the owner was attentive to our needs. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you.

If you're looking for the perfect getaway house away from all the tourist trappings this is the place. The house was located close to many beautiful family friendly beaches and we enjoyed them all. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. Lots of beach toys, towels and chairs. We were a group of 5 adults and 4 children and there was plenty of room. Our vacation was perfect and we can't thank Debbie enough for all she did in helping us arrange our wonderful stay at the house. We highly recommend this house.

I am writing this review from the great room of this amazing home! We are a family of seven (five teenagers/young adults, mom, dad) on our first Hawaiin vacation. I am so glad we found the Hali Pili Lani! First and foremost, the view is to die for. You might not want to leave the house! The home is clean and well stocked with all the necessities. We really appreciated the great room with a big dining room table and plenty of chairs for our big group. The main part of the home includes a great room, kitchen, three bedroom and a bath. What we didn't expect was the lower-level master suite. The master suite has a private entrance and isn't accessible from the main home. For a family with small children, this probably wouldn't work, but for us it was perfect! My husband and I are really appreciating the privacy.

The neighborhood beach is beautiful and just a short walk away. We spent one afternoon snorkeling there and plan on going back for more. The beach towels provided at the house were a wonderful bonus and kept us from having to bring our own or purchase some here. The washer and dryer were also great to have.

There is a strip mall just down the hill (walking distance) with a grocery store, movie theater and several restaurants. We loved the burgers at Seven Guys. The Polynesian Cultural Center is a short drive away. We are really enjoying the slower, laid-back pace of Laie.

Deb (one of the owners) was great to work with. We communicate several times via email and phone and she was always very prompt to respond and answer my questions. Bottom line: I would not hesitate to recommend the Hale Pili Lani and hope to return here again myself!

We rented this beautiful home for 7 nights. The view was breathtaking! We fell asleep to the crashing of the waves every evening! The home had great space for our family of 4 plus had my sister in law & brother in law and their daughter plus Nana!

It was kind of a trip to have one of the bedrooms with private bath down below the home but it was definitely private with our own lanie. Great having a washer and dryer. We used it every night for towels to prepare for the next day at the beach.

The beach was walking distance. Thanks for having sand toys. We found lots of ghost crabs at Temple Beach. So Fun!!

Grocery store was close by too. Everything is closed on Sunday in Laie so we planned ahead. Everyone in the town was so friendly! The home had wonderfully large windows which allowed for great light and had amazing cross breezes with the windows open!

We loved interacting with Deb. She made this whole experience so easy to set up. Very personable and helpful. Thank you so much!! We would definitely rent this home again.

Me and my family's first vacation trip to Hawaii and was very fortunate to find the PERFECT house to stay at for the week. The location at the North Shore gave you a feel of how the locals lived rather than the crowd at Honolulu. Shopping center literally down the street from the house and was 5 minutes away from the famous Giovanni shrimp truck, best beaches and one mile away from the Polynesian Cultural Center.

The pictures on this site does not do the place justice. The landscape was tremendously beautiful and well kept with all of the islands natural beauty. The house came with everything you need along with WiFi, two boogie boards, sand castle toys, beach mats, goggles/snorkling goggles and more.

AWESOME communication and GREAT detailed packet that answers all of your needs and questions. Being it our first time in Hawaii, we were truly at ease!!! Highly recommend this to my friends, family and anyone who truly want to experience Oahu at its fullest.

Look no more if you want to stay on O'ahu!

I've done the research for you. A spectacular house, just as the pictures show. The local beaches were the most beautiful I have ever seen, and I can't imagine where the crowds were, maybe Waikiki? Great location, close to the grocery store, quiet street, short drive to Sunset Beach to see the surfers and the historic town of Hale'iwa, where there are some great restaurants and shops. My family of nine had no problem fitting in, we could all sit at the table at one time. Can't beat the price either, very good value for this 'villa'. Very clean and well kept home. I miss it sooo much already and plan to return!

We stayed at Hale Lani Pili and enjoyed it immensley. The local beaches were lovely and it was an easy drive to the north shore. The location right on the ocean was great and the lanai was perfect for outdoor dinners - the bbq is a welcome addition to the house. The mastersuite was nice and private plus the kitchen had all the ammentities we needed. The house was clean when we arrived and you can tell was well looked after. The house made our time in Hawaii really memorable. Thank you.

What a fabulous place

We spent the most amazing 8 days at Hale Pili Lani. There were 8 people in our group so with 4 bedrooms it was perfec,t and the living dining area was more than we expected size wise.

But the very best part were the incredible views from the deck, where we spent mot of our time. We could see all of turtle, para sailers glided by, and turtles swam below--we lived on the deck, and had every dinner overlooking the ocean

Its kind of a zen house. Because it is off the road it is really peacefull, unlike the place our friends stayed where they had to deal with traffic. The master suite was unreal, every night we heard the waves crashing.

We will be back and tell our friends, thanks for the vacation of a lifetime.

Family Get A Way

Review submitted: April 11, 2014   Date of arrival: March 7, 2014

If you want a great experience for the whole family and to get away from the crowds we would highly recommend staying at beautiful Hale Pili Lani in Laie. What a wonderful vacation our family of eight had. Ages 4 to 70 and something for all of us to do or see each day. The home was beautiful and very comfortable. Each evening you leave the windows open and listen to the ocean waves so relaxing. The area was quite and the town of Laie so friendly. Each day as the sun was going down we just sat in comfort and watched the whales and turtles very exciting. Mahalo Bob and Barbara for having us. Look forward to returning soon.

Wonderful stay! Highly recommend this house.

Review submitted: April 6, 2014   Date of arrival: March 22, 2014

We stayed 10 days here recently. An amazing location, close to everything. We could walk to the grocery store, shopping center and even a movie theater from the house. Walk to Laie point for sunrise or after dinner to relax. Easy to get over to the North Shore even once a day to see how the waves are crashing that day or to check how many sea turtles are basking that day. The house was well kept and clean. It was uncluttered, not overly decorated. There's shelves full of books to read while on the lanai listening to the waves crash and doing nothing. The downstairs master space was quiet and tranquil and private. It was exactly what all of us needed. The new owners were great to deal with and very helpful. Internet access was stable and fast, no issues. The only thing I might suggest would be a couple of extra towels in the master bathroom. Only having two meant that when we threw them in the wash one morning and then went to shower we realized we would need to go upstairs and borrow some before we could do so. A bath mat for the floor of the bathroom would've been good too. Other than linens in the master bathroom it was a wonderful stay with all the right things: location, amenities, seclusion, appliances and household tools and ambiance. Thanks!

Owners response: Mahalo Chrissy. Good idea about the extra towels and bath mat, will do. So glad you enjoyed your stay. Aloha.

We loved our stay!

Review submitted: March 29, 2014   Date of arrival: February 15, 2014

We spent a week at “Hale Pili Lani” in February of this year. We had our 2 teenage sons as well as our friends and their 2 teenage children. We loved our accommodations. The house is located on a quiet street away from tourist traps and has a spectacular view of the ocean. The house was centrally located to all of the activities that we wanted to do. Whether going to the Polynesian Cultural Center, BYU-Hawaii, or the LDS Temple, you hardly had time to get the seat belts on, and the windows down before it was time to park and get out of the car. Really, they are all THAT close. Exceptional beaches are 5-20 minutes away. “Pounders”, “Sunset”, “Pipeline”, Waimea Bay”, are all close by; put on the sunscreen at the house so you will give yourself the obligatory 15 minutes before going into the water. Fun restaurants are to be had within 20 minutes. Make sure to have one of your breakfasts at “Hukilau Cafe”, a five minute drive, and featured on Travel Channels “Man versus Food”. Or you can stop in at Costco, from the airport, and put your food in the fridge at the house. You will love this place. ALOHA
