Lakeside Paradise is a vacation rental property that offers our guests the most enjoyable and memorable, as well as affordable vacation possible. The rental is available year round to a worldwide clientele and offers with its location, nearby attractions and its numerous amenities a most fantastic vacation opportunity. Located on one of the cleanest lakes in the US, Lakeside Paradise enjoys close proximity to shopping, dining, and easy access via Corridor X to the nearby metroplex of Birmingham or Huntsville. Golfers will appreciate the many nearby, truly magnificent championship golf courses featured on the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail. Bring your boat and jet skis; launch for free at the nearby Alabama Power Company public boat launch near the dam. Or, leave your boat at home and rent one of ours. See fantastic scenery such as wide vistas of emerald green water or sheer rock cliffs towering above, or the many multi-million dollar homes on the lake. If you enjoy fishing, Smith Lake has produced many record catches in several varieties of game fish. Fishing tournaments are held throughout the year. Or, just fish off the boat house day or night.
Lakeside Paradise is offered in two basic rental formats, hosted or non-hosted. Rent on a day to day basis as a very unique, hosted Bed and Breakfast. Or rent the entire property for several days, a week, a month or a year. It is our aim that you will be treated as royalty and afforded a truly magnificent vacation. Our competitive rates are based on the type rental you prefer.

Five Bedrooms, three full baths, fully equipped office, queen beds, bunk beds or if you need extra sleeping arrangements, we have an air mattress. We provide free local and continental long distance calls, high speed DSL wireless internet, coffemaker, refrigerator with freezer, thermostat controlled temp, HDTVs with home entertainment systems, Direct TV service, a 200 plus DVD movie library, a selection of paperbacks to read, professional pool and game table with accessories, assorted board games, use of outdoor grills and smoker, and use of laundry facilities, Hot Springs spa, no steps to the water.
Our 29 ft cruiser rents for $750 and our 28 ft pontoon boat rents for $650. Enjoy one or both for your entire stay. If you rent the cruiser, we have found that the kids really enjoy camping out on her as she sits high and dry on her lift in the boat house. She has shore power, heat and a/c, and sleeps six.

Golf: Our rental is located in the middle of nine championship golf complexes totaling 288 holes. Horse Creek is only 25 miles away in Dora and another eight layouts featured on the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail are within 100 miles and five of these are within 50 miles. The Trail offers today's golf enthusiast an unforgettable golf experience. Take it from a former two handicapper, don't miss playing The Trail! It is truly world class golf.

Like to Fish? Lewis Smith Lake is renowned for its plentiful game fish challenges. Every year several fishing tournaments offer fantastic prizes for the champion angler. Be forewarned though; the lake is crystal clear and heavily fished. You will need all your angling skills!

Birmingham: The Botanical Gardens, Museum, Zoo, Performing Arts Center, Civil Rights Museum, Sloss Furnace, McWayne Center, IMAX Theater, Talladega Speedway, many fine restuarants.
Huntsville: Space and Rocket Museum.
Cullman: The Ave Maria Grotto; Rickwood Caverns.

Lakeside paradise is available as an ultimate privacy, whole house rental.  We meet you and show you the property and answer any questions; then we depart but are as close as the telephone. The Peak Season rate is $300 per night with a three night minimum; or $1800 per six night, seven day stay. Additionally there is a 10% state tax, a $175 cleaning fee and a refundable $300 reservation/security deposit per rental. This reservation fee secures your preferred dates and serves as your security deposit. It is refunded following a successful check out. Off Peak Season runs from Oct 1 through March 31 where the daily rate is $250. All stays during holiday weeks are at $400 per night.

We are also available as a bed and breakfast rental at certain times of the year (mostly fall and winter). If you are interested in this type of stay call and we can discuss your dates and our rates.

Stays including the listed holidays are at the rate of $400 per day. Included holidays are Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years, .

Also, we offer for rent our 28 foot pontoon boat for $650 and our 29 foot aft cabin cruiser for $750.00. Enjoy each for your entire stay. They will be full of gas and you must fill your rental up prior to check out. There is a separate rental agreement.
