Great vacation spot

I wanted to let folks know about this terrific little gem of a vacation spot. This was our 2nd year there and we have already booked for next July. As a person in a very high stress job, I want a vacation spot to provide me with peace and relaxation yet I want the option to go out on the town if I get the urge. The location of this charming, nautical themed waterfront home is perfect. It is dog friendly which is important to me. The surroundings are pristine, with the canal right behind the home where you can drop a crab pot, canoe, or just sit and watch the local wildlife. There is a wonderful Florida room, perfect to sit and gaze at the water while you have your morning coffee and the entire house is very comfortable and cozy. The folks who live in this neighborhood are very friendly and there is a lovely, well maintained pool to help you cool off on those hot afternoons. And if you get the urge to shop, dine or paint the town, you are in close proximity to both Ocean City and Rehobeth. But I have to say, in all of my years of fighting the crowds and traffic of Ocean City, it was amazing to me to find this quiet oasis which I never knew existed and the icing on the cake so to speak, a great lobster resteraunt and a fresh seafood market practically outside our door. I would recommend this great vacation spot to anyone who wants a relaxing, rejuvenating vacation.

Recommended for: age 55+, girls getaway, pet-friendly, romantic getaway

My Family's First Summer in Delaware

My Family and I stayed in this canal side house and had the best vacation yet. There are so many things that you can do and all within a 1/2 hour ride. The week we spent was not enough for everything this place has to offer. The local beaches are clean, the people are friendly and access to the community pool was great for non-beach days. There was also Bethany beach, outlets in Rehobeth and the boardwalk in Ocean City Maryland (all within 30 minutes).

The food at the local restaurants was excellent and many of them are waterside!!! There is parasailing, jet ski's, pirate adventures, kayaking and much more.

The house itself was very clean and well kept. The layout of the house is family friendly to enjoy nights on the deck or a game of tag on rainy days. The rooms are spacious and the owners have provided many amenities that we have not had in other rentals. The owners provided many board games, books, videos, internet connection and much more.

I would recommend this house to anybody due to all the amenities offered and the generosity of the owners. Just bring your clothes, food, bedsheets, toiletries,laundery detergent and garbage bags. Everything else is there! Did I mention the miniature golf course, shuffle board, volleyball court and playground that are included in the community?
