Spanish Villa - Great family retreat near Beverly Hills in Beverly Hills

Old world charm runs throughout our 1920's Spanish home.  While beautiful and meticulously decorated, it is - most importantly - a warm, comfortable retreat.  The original rooms have high, coved ceilings and dark hardwood floors.  The grand, vaulted living room has a fireplace and home theater system.  The formal dining room seats 10 and has exposed beams, terra cotta tiles and it's own fireplace.

The kitchen and all three bathrooms have recently been remodeled.  The master bath includes his and her sinks, a huge dual head shower and deep Serenity tub.

In addition to the guest room with double bed on the first floor, there are four bedrooms upstairs.  The master suite with four poster queen bed includes an unobtrusive flatscreen TV/DVD player.  There is a child's room with a single bed and it's own full bath.  The other child's room includes a crib/toddler bed.  The last bedroom has been set up as a playroom - a true child's fantasy land.  We have deluxe, cushioned queen, double and single air mattresses that will easily convert any of the kids' rooms for adults.

The backyard is immaculately landscaped and lit for entertaining.  It has a gas grill with outdoor fridge and bar, a fire bowl and chimnea, a fountain, a sunning terrace, a wooden playground set and a full outdoor dining room.

The kitchen is newly remodeled as well, with a gas burner stove, oven and all stainless steel appliances, including a wine fridge.  The kitchen table seats six and the counter seats an additional four.  We have two high chairs and two Tripp Trapp toddler chairs as well.

The detached studio has been turned into a exercise haven.  French doors allow light to pour into this large, high-ceilinged space.  Use the Lifestyle Elliptical, universal weight machine or spread out and relax with a little yoga.

This home has been lovingly tailored to entertain both adults and families in comfort and style.  It is truly a getaway.

We are right down the street from Beverly Hills and all that it has to offer. A few minutes in the other direction will take you to L.A.'s newest hot spot, Culver City, with it's high-rated restaurants.  There are two parks nearby (one within walking distance) with great playgrounds. You can even walk to Starbucks, if reading the paper with a coffee in the lounge chair is your thing!

Santa Monica, Venice and the beach are just 7.5 miles away, as is downtown Los Angeles. The Disneyland and California Adventure theme parks are only a 45 minute drive.  Big Bear Lake and Lake Arrowhead mountain resorts are only 2 hours, door to door.  Santa Barbara is also only 2 hours.
