The house is a large, New England lake home, built out over the lake. It faces the west and the sunsets and mountain views are gorgeous. There are five bedrooms with one queen, two full, one single and one double single. There is a fieldstone fireplace in the living room and knotty pine interior. There is a screened porch overlooking the lake. There is an outdoor deck and dock with chairs and umbrellas as well as a hammock in the trees.

Renters need to bring sheets, towels and blankets.

There is a TV, CD player, DVD/VCR and Internet access as well as a huge supply of magazines, books, games and puzzles. There is a gar grill outside, as well as deck chairs and small side tables. The house and property has fencing all the way around it. There are a number of water toys and inflatables for both children and adults.

The lake itself is very clean and great for swimming. You will need a license from downtown to fish, but fishing from the deck and the dock is both easy and there are a variety of fish to be caught. There is a large outlet mall in Tilton, 5 miles away and it is 12 miles to Lake Winnipesaukee, which has water parks and a number of other activities. The house has a huge basket of information on locations to visit such as the Polar Caves, Shaker Village, miniature golf courses, horseback riding, boat cruises on Winnepesaukee and the boardwalk at Weirs Beach. There are a number of local antique stores and dealers in the immediate area. A local newspaper will have information on sites for berry-picking or seasonal events such as fairs or town festivals during the summer months.

The rate is $1,800 per week. The rate drops to $1,700 per week if more than one week is booked at the same time.
