Gruene River Guest House in New Braunfels

Gruene River Guest House sits on 5 beautiful acres on the Guadalupe River.  The property is within walking distance of the shops, restaurants and 'toobing' businesses in the historical hamlet of Gruene, Texas.

With 5 acres and over 300 feet of waterfront, the relaxation never ends. 

Bring your fishing pole, your golf clubs, and a good book.  Enjoy a picnic by the river, or a nap in a hammock under a shade tree.

If you enjoy live music, the property is a short 15 minute stroll from Gruene Hall.

If you enjoy the many water activities offered on the Guadalupe River, you can enter upstream using one of the shuttle services, and exit the river on the Gruene River Guest House waterfront.

By booking at "Gruene River Guest House" you and every member of your group acknowledges and agrees to the following policies:

Valid credit cards are required for booking.

A deposit of 50% is due at booking.

All cancellations must be made 30 days prior to rental date - a $50.00 handling fee will be assessed.

Rental Rates must be paid in full 2 weeks prior to rental date - No Refunds!

No glass allowed on the property in the outdoor areas!

No Pets Allowed! (we have our own)

No children under the age of 21.

All rooms are non smoking.

All reservations must be made by a responsible party, 21 years of age or older, who must occupy the property during the reservation time. This party will be responsible for all charges, including damages caused to the property, etc.

Your credit card will be charged full replacement value for any damage, vandalism or missing items.  If we have to call an environmental clean up crew your credit card will be charged.

Safety and security are the sole responsibility of the guests.

Owners or their agent(s) assume no responsibility or liability for the safety or security of the guests, or for the injury caused by the criminal acts of other persons.

There will be no refunds for shortened stays due to the weather, river conditions or concert cancellations, etc.

We reserve the right to have any or all members of the group escorted off the property for malicious conduct.

For your convenience... owners live onsite.

All rooms are furnished with queen size beds, clawfoot tubs/shower in the bathrooms; microwaves, coffee makers and refrigerators.  All three rooms have seperate outside entrances with key pad locks.

Guests can enjoy a dip in the pool or relax in the hot tub, play a waterfront game of horseshoes or washers.  Relax in the hammock with a great view of the river.

We have an outdoor kitchen area complete with cooktop, griddle, sink and ice machine.

We have gas and charcoal grills for guests use at the guesthouse and the waterfront gazeebo.

We offer ample outdoor seating on our decks and patios by the pool in the backyard.

Less than a mile from Historic Gruene shops, restaurants and river activities.

Schlitterbahn is a short 5 minute drive.

San Antonio is less than an hour to its many attractions; Riverwalk, Fiesta Texas, Sea World, Alamo....etc.

Weekend Rates (Friday and Saturday) $1000. per night

Weekday Rates (Sunday through Thursday) $650. per night

Holiday Rates (3 night minimum) $1200. per night

Add 13% tax to posted prices.

Two night minimum for weekend rentals.

Add $250 cleaning fee per stay
